How much did the pizza shop end up with?
Apologies for misrepresenting what you wrote earlier DBCooper. I do think I understood you well enough, but made the mistake of stating it wrong. In any case, what I wrote=/= what you argued.
But you haven’t dealt with what I found confusing.
That is-

Magick, natural rights do not need the existence of “God”. They only need the existence of something of such nature that it is capable of conferring upon an organism an ability unique to all others and which makes this particular organism the dominant organism on the planet.
That organism is us.
Natural Rights are different in that they are also created and given to us, but at birth and by SOME sort of entity more powerful than ourselves rather than a gov’t or some other human construct.
I still maintain that natural rights requires the existence of some higher being, one with the authority and power to imbue us with such rights. If those rights exhibit themselves within us through our ability to reason and discover what is within ourselves, then fine. That’s perfectly fine with me. But I think you need some higher being for such an argument to work.
You apparently disagree with this. But in the very post you talk about why you disagree, you also write statements that are seemingly at odds with one another.
I really do not understand how the argument you’re making in the first quote I have above jives with your 2nd post as well.
