Regrettable Tattoos

pEOPLE EXPRESS THEMSELVES DIFFERENTLY. If you don’t know what the asshole bellybutton means…other than assuming its attention seeking, then why judge it?
Because it’s really stupid and anyone that has that shit looks like a fucking imbecile.

Now, admittedly, you are a vampire with a more than likely different world view than most mortals, but dude - it just looks fuckin’ dumb. : )
My world view is purely wanting to be as intimate with as many people as possible…the nature of the vampire is to explore what most people dismiss.

So, you’re right, I guess I am odd for not judging someone based on a picture they like…especially if I don’t know what significance it has to them.

It is so weird, to me, at least that body modding is being mocked on a site geared toward body modding. Shit, pick any poster on this site over 250 with a good amount of LBM…I beat I can find people who say they look ridiculous too. BUT I’ll bet if you can clearly articulate why you have the goals of being massive you wont look as dumb in their eyes.

look

“why are you so muscular”

“because I wanna be huge and shit and get bitches”

vs

“why are you so muscular?”

“I think my health is very important. I lift to keep my body functioning optimally and hypertrophy is a byproduct. Also, I hope to compete in a contest one day and possibly begin a personal training career.”

Same with the tat

“dude, wtf? is that a cat’s asshole?”

“yea, brah…freaky, right lolz”

vs

"well,my mom’s name was cathyrn and I remember when she would blow on my bellybutton when I was young…she died when I was 4. She would always tell me not to be an asshole like my father who left us when she got sick…she got me a kitten to protect me while she “went away”

ya never know what anything means…especially tats

Ask anyone here if their tats have an alternate meaning that only they or a few others know about…you’ll be surprised to see how a random star can turn into a street name that a loved one died on…or a fish can be a memory of a guy losing his virginity on a bout.

you don’t know…if you arent willing to ask, don’t judge. avoid judging when the judged arent present to offer a defense at all costs.

but I’m just a stupid vampire wtf do I know about wanting to understand why people do what they do?

“Lessee, I want a tattoo with all my favorite things… I like diamonds and credit cards and shews and oh cupcakes and lipstick, can you make that work together? Oh good! On the top of the cupcake a want a skull because I’m a badazz chick and I want the flame of the candle to look like a creased butthole.”
The symbol in the flame is the symbol of the astrological sign of Pisces.

that chicks kinda hot… that tattoo would be distracting during sex. If she was on top and raiser her arms it’d probably scare you slightly lol

How about this one? I can’t find the link, but I’m pretty sure the “goons.jpg” thread in the Something Awful forums has the story behind it.

When anybody I know talks about getting a tattoo, I remind them that a tattoo can make you more interesting, but it won’t make you more attractive.

Just saying.

I have a Chinese character on my arm that I sort of regret. I am looking at options to get it covered.
Have you thought about changing what it means? Maybe a few more strokes an extra character and you can change what the word means (different context etc). Cover up on Chinese character should be straight forward (provided it’s black, not too big I guess).

Here’s my topless lady. It’s on my side. The angle is weird and I don’t think the artwork is quite as bad as this pic makes it seem but it’s still fucking retarded. 17 year olds shouldn’t get tattoos, lol.
Ouch. Not trying to insult you dude, but that looks pretty awful. : (
Lol, I’m aware.

As seniors in high school it started getting ultra cool to get tattoos. My one buddy got a tribal armband, my other buddy got a clown with TUBS (his nickname) written beneath it, another friend got a jacked leprechan holding a beer and I got a naked lady.

Bunch of winners, aren’t we?
Looks like you all got a circus troop. I don’t think it looks that bad, some pin-up tatts look fucking awesome, at least yours will stay hidden under a shirt.
Efuchs7 wrote:
do ppl in Asia get english tats on them?
Actually yes, some have names in medieval lettering, bible passages. Some of the cooler ones I’ve seen have like skin ripped look reveling a page of written text. I guess here most can read Chinese (for example) so it has to be profound to seem cool enough, whereas in the USA (or wherever) it would be like “Gawd, what does your tatt say?”

fuck it, if they like it…let 'em be. I’m sure most of you wouldnt like that tasts I’ve done or the ones I have. Art is art…just don’t look.
Fuck that. You can have good art and bad art. The portrait tats in this thread are a perfect example of completely horrid art. Also, I’m sure the numerous belly-button/assholes weren’t done for any kind of artistic reasons or with much thought given to them as works of art.

People exercise shitty judgement. Simple as that. As such, they should at the very least be ridiculed on an internet forum. That’s essentially letting 'em be. And really, if you get a tattoo somewhere highly visible or elect to show it off, you can’t expect all the reactions to be positive when it looks like a cheap novelty.
pEOPLE EXPRESS THEMSELVES DIFFERENTLY. If you don’t know what the asshole bellybutton means…other than assuming its attention seeking, then why judge it?

I have to pentagrams but you know they have nothing to do with satanic rituals…yet, most people think that’s the case. In actuality, the pentagram means protection. I look at my tats for me and no one else…before tests or big lifts I look at them fa little boost.

We don’t know the stories behind any of these tats.

I just finished covering a guy’s torso with zombies because he beat cancer and is “the living dead”…it’s expression and without a back story I will never say its trash…just interesting.
Wait your nick is “Ct Rockula”, picture of goth-like chick on the avatar, got pentagram tattoos and no satanic ritual participation? C’mon man! haha totally just kidding

You said at the end you did a guy’s torso with zombies, sorry I didn’t know - you’re an ink artist?

I’d like to get something when I finally conquer Type 2 Diabetes, something wicked. I have a phoenix now on my back and thought to make all my tattoos Phoenix related (I just have a fascination with the myth and the feeling of re-birth, “rising from the ashes” type thing).

"errr yeah I’d like to get a tattoo…one that say’s I like fashion, and going out in the sun, loves diamonds, likes partying with my girlfriends, have a Cinderella fascination with finding Prince Charming, loves shopping, and that I’m woman with “Danger"ous curves…and oh my friends call me cupcake…can you design something for me please?”

I’ve got just the thing.

Oh man, it’s rough. Though, comedy gold for burning on DVD’s and labeling as “Insert Recent Film in Theatre” and leaving at friends (enemies?) houses, school, etc.

Also, lol at your avy.
