Regressive Keto Cycle

Do you guys think that people are just fucking stupid or something?

Moderate to high carbs just doesn’t work for SOME people. Deal with it!

Not everyone has the same genes or hormonal profile.

In all fairness this guy has given as much backup for his argument as you have.

Im an open minded chap - got any studies to support what you are saying?

I just logged on to follow what was going on with my post and saw that my post was edited by mods. The last paragraph which had a list of people to lookup and get facts from was completely deleted. This is the last time I will ever post on the forums.

I really don’t care if you all believe me or not but its the truth. So try to really think things through before you believe it completely.

Don’t be put off, censorship is just part of the game around here.

There are studies that support what I claim (if there weren’t I wouldn’t believe what I’m saying either) I’ll do my best to find them.

I’ve been pretty busy the past couple days however, as the end of the semester is upon me and I have more important things to worry about than internet debates, but I’ll see if I can find some studies and post em up by tonight.

Good example of people using a PSMF diet by the way. They eat an all-protein diet and don’t seem to have a problem with muscle loss (provided they follow the rules)

Kinda throws a wrench in the whole “you’ll switch to a protein burning metabolism” argument doesn’t it?

In his plan Thibs outlines 2 shakes and 4 meals - the 2 shakes from what I can tell are aimed for workout days. Do you guys feel it would be fair to do what I have been doing and replace the two shakes with one meal (macros are divided evenly across every meal however) so I have 5 feeding opportunities?

Thibs lives on whey protein while he’s dieting…this is from an older article too, so he was all about the Keto before he discovered carb cycling to diet. Solid food probably IS better because of the required energy it takes to break down the food (mostly animal protein hopefully!) you eat.

Chicken and turkey bro!

the main thing I was debating was the number of feeding opportunities but Im eating every 3-4 hours right now with quality protein sources so its all good.

Also…

STEAK.

That’s an interesting result; as a complete polar opposite I’ve heard of people who can ‘flip flop’ their macros whenever they feel like (within reason) to either high carb or high fat.[/quote]

I’m not one bit surprized. So many random strategies work for different people.

I have a friend who gets smashed off his head EVERY weekend, taking I don’t even know how many drugs, which leads to his suppression in appetite and only eating maybe 2-3 meals over the whole weekend, and on top of this HARDLY training, maybe 2-3 sessions a week and he comes into the gym looking like he is on juice, jacked and sitting around 6%, vascular as hell! WTF. I hate him.

You should get best results, body comp wise, with Lactic Acid training. German Body Composition. The main idea, is the keep the rest low in between sets so that your build up more lactic acid, which leads to more fat loss and increased GH. This type of training will preserve muscle and burn fat. I’m not a fan of low int cardio…I used to be, but I feel it lead to muscle loss for me. HIIT is more preferable.

Check out Thibs article on destroying the fat. His set up of seperate heavy work and lactate days worked fairly well for me. Don’t forget to switch things up, when fat loss stalls.
