Rebirth of the Juggernaut: Brute Force and Ignorance (Part 1)

That’s a very good point! My kid only really watches YouTube and Netflix!

He doesn’t eat much fast food either though, nor does he respond to it like we did when I was a kid.

:joy: Those sound horrible but at the same time Awesome.

I didn’t have YouTube access until I was 10 or so. Before that, our TV time was strictly limited so any commercial was treated as the work of the devil. Must have ruined the fond memories for me :joy:

You’ll never know the joy of being teased by kids that are dressed like Ernie and Bert playing with the new Castle Grayskull on a television that only works if you’re facing the right direction.

To be fair, all televisions only work if you’re facing the right direction.

I took Alpha Male for a good while maybe 6 months. Just took a month break. The biggest thing I noticed was how hard it was to gain weight. I could drop weight pretty damn easy though. Weight is catching up with me now that I’m off it and just restarted.

Are you saying it was hard to gain weight while you were on Alpha Male, or that it’s been hard to gain weight now that you stopped using it?

It was tough putting on weight while on it. Which I think for most folks most of the time is a plus. Certainly noticed the weight going up much easier now that I’ve been off for a month or so. I’m restarting again so we will see if that holds true.

What is it you like about the product? Tbh I was always convinced test boosters were a bunch of bull but seeing you give it a positive review makes me think.
I just checked it out and the price is pretty damn crazy. Especially since I roughly know what a friend pays for actual testosterone around here.

It’s going to be tough to say what effects are specifically attributable to Alpha Male vs manipulation of nutrition, as the 4 week mark of Alpha Male corresponds with me re-adding dietary fat/saturated fat into my diet, but in either case I’m feeling more like my old self compared to where I was at the bottom of my weight loss. I was lacking in aggression and interest at that point, feeling depressed effectively, whereas now I’m much more like I was when I was heavier. I’m not 100% there, but still better than where I was, and given I’m at the same bodyweight/bodyfat percentage, it’s an interesting data point.

And unlike taking test, there’s no real side effects to contend with or need for PCT.

I’ve been thinking about starting the same about a month from now but share the same concern. I’ve been pondering having some side goals to strive for that might help keep me honest to the sub-max programming.

For instance, I really want to be able to do 50 headstand pike presses in one set. I have an idea how to progress towards that. It shouldn’t eat into my ability to recover from 531 SVR II.

I can’t accurately relay how that’ll keep me from self-destruction but I think it could conceivably work. I believe I’ll be able to soothe the thing in me that in the past has had me fuck up 531.

@Voxel Hope it works well. For me, it will be balancing conditioning, but I have a feeling food can solve a lot of issues.

Notes: Really awesome workout. The topset of squats came without any real drama. Bar kept slipping off my back, as I was wearing a warmer shirt than my usual Westside Barbell cut off. I find myself excited to squat each week, which is a total change of pace for me. Been great setting little PRs and getting my strength back to old levels while having my bodyweight stay low. My legs are looking meaty these days, so I’m wondering if I’m seeing a bit of recomp with my bodyweight staying the same despite how much more I’m eating.

Always a positive, but now you’ve got to upload a quad photo!

You’re both wrong…

It’s a triple whammy of genetics and drugs and pro-androgen genetics! Clearly one of the elite.
