I don’t take one because I don’t aromatize. I think it’s individual. I am against everyone taking it unless indicated, and I think at 91, you may want to consider it.
For me, like I said, I don’t aromatize so I don’t take one. I caught a ton of shit on this forum for that position, but it is what it is.
I believe I am also a hyper responder. I take it once in a while, but have crashed my E2 with a very small dose. That’s why I suggest adding it slowly.
Well, I guess that’s the question – do I need to? I don’t want to take an AI. I believe they’re dangerous and should almost never be used. But some would argue, given that my E2 is approaching 100, I may be one of those rare exceptions who needs to take a very small dose.
This is the only risky thing It seems around the creme, also maybe some contamination remains to your underwear? And you do not want to transfer test to your wife, GF or even fuck buddy…
It does after … like an hour later she’ll be asking for another go. Even on injections I must of excreted some. She was asking if I was using gel and if some rubbed off on her. When I got on cream the same thing happened.
I think you’ll probably agree I’m just as lean as I was before, if not leaner…yet I’ve been consuming 2600-3000 cals per day – 1000 more than I was eating! Cannot believe it. I feel awesome and way more satiated throughout the day, yet the extra energy just seems to be going to muscle. I actually took the wifey out for ice cream last night (I got raspberry chip frozen yogurt) – I never do that! Nice side effect: relationship health. I just feel way more uninhibited, and also more free to enjoy the awesome meals she cooks.
This has been a pretty mind-boggling experience for me. The positive effects have to be a result of the extra T in my system and the higher-than-ever-before protein consumption (~220-260 g/day, whereas I’d never routinely consumed over 160/day before). I know if I were eating 3000 calories of shit food with less T in my body I’d be packing on the fat right now.
I’ve been simply eating right and less and lost about 3% body fat in just the last month. I believe I was at 18 3-4 months ago. 2 months ago 13/14% and this week 11%…
I went from 60lbs muscle mass using the machine to 80s a few months ago and now I’m at 95lbs muscle mass supposedly. Per the machine.
It’s crazy how much my body has changed in a short period of time.
Today I decided to start eating breakfast and lunch to put on a bit more muscle on the arms and legs. It seems my chest, back and thighs get big but my biceps and forearms will not. Don’t get me wrong I’ve grown and gotten stronger. I recall being able to do 20s x 5 now I’m doing 40 x 5.
thinking it’s because I need more calories. I have been skipping breakfast and lunch half the time since I started trt.
I know before low t I was going to the gym daily and my arms were allot thicker than they are today. I just couldn’t lose fat haha so it’s not that I’m genetically fudged.
@enackers Agreed, I’m gonna guess that scale is off. For example, my scale says I’m close to 150 lbs MM – and I almost definitely do not have 50 lbs more muscle than you, I’m sure.
Love it! Sometimes it’s that simple. Eat good foods, eat less, sometimes skip a meal – and lose fat. We tend to overcomplicate things in these circles.
Emphasize protein – chicken, fish, turkey, lean beef, lean steak, etc. – and they will grow!
I mentioned above that I went to a bachelor party last weekend. Drinks were had, shirts came off. Dad bods on dad bods – that’s the norm for dudes in their 20s now.
I’m reaching the age where the difference between ‘people who mind their health’ and ‘people who don’t’ becomes clear. I’ll attend my 10-year high school reunion soon and expect I’ll likely find more of the same there (and, of course, that effect will only become more pronounced at future reunions).
It makes me wonder: how can any person (who is physically able and has no legitimate excuse) be OK with not training regularly and at least somewhat in command of their diet? I’m not saying you have to be perfect – you don’t need to be running two-a-days and tracking every calorie and macro – but at least try a little bit. At least be a little mindful about your health.
Glad to have fellow fitness-committed dudes on this forum, because it’s really hard to find them in real life these days.
Yes curls and preachers… I’m on the protein hunt. Just ripped one of my old dress shirts so that means I’m Definitely getting much bigger
Once I lose this tiny bit of belly fat I’m going to increase my protein and carb intake to get a bit on the ripped side. Don’t care to get bit just in great shape for the ladies. Haha
Bro it’s horrible. Watch Kennedy podcast with joe Rogan from last year. He pretty much sums it up.
Everything is online. Students don’t partake in sports. Athleticism is out the window. Gamers galore. Bad diets. Too much drinking and partying.
There’s a reason weight loss, Ed meds and etc are huge industries. Whose the target market! Middle aged.
I’d say 1 out of 5 men is in good physical shape with some muscle but most don’t eat right. RegRdless if there fat or skinny genetically. Actually it’s more like 1 out of 10. I just looked around at Starbucks and saw it for my own eyes.
Plenty of dudes workout and they can’t go full speed for a quarter mile without losing their shit.
It’s sad. We’re lucky to if figured it’s out young. Imagine being 50 trying to lose 50lbs
Dude, I just downloaded that. Tim Kennedy is a fucking animal. Can’t wait to listen!
You’re totally right. We have a generation of physically weak males. And then when they drink or watch sports/fighting, they turn into “tough guys.” It’s hilarious – have to look at them and laugh.
Yeah man. I was at a party with 15 dudes – all high school athletes, some college athletes – and would say 2 of us take care of our bodies. Sad.
Understatement of the century. Fitness will be a part of my life as long as I live. It’s one of the greatest tools anyone could have!
I can’t speak for 50, but when I was 39 with low T that I didn’t even know about yet, it was not easy to get where I’m at, and I still have a ways to go. I did everything almost perfect for right at 2 years and I made some progress, but I didn’t start really making any headway until I started TRT.
Take it from me boys…live your life and enjoy it, but don’t abuse your body. Even with proper hormone balances, its gets harder as you get older.
Words of wisdom! How did you treat your body in your 20s and 30s? Something tells me you never went off the deep end and probably were in reasonably good shape.
