Yeah, but our wussy society is going to charge the student with something because the burgular-fuck was unarmed.

I would claim that I saw him reach for something that looked like a weapon. I would not prosecute this guy, fuck him, this is what happens when you break into the wrong guy’s home.
If that kid gets charged with manslaughter or something that is just total bullshit. THey said the “victim” had a long list of burglaries and just got out of jail for GTA, fuck people like that, they need to die anyways.

There is no way to deal with them. You either kill them or lock them up. Clearly locking them up in the past didn’t work. Off them, fuck them. One less guy to lock up.

It’s “There can be only one” not “There can only be one”.

I smoked pot with Johnny Hopkins.

I didn’t read victim in the report, but the only victim here is the burglar, of being stupid enough to break into a garage and someone being a Highlander.

Fuck, I was just about to post this but you beat me to it.

Isn’t there a guy on here with a sword in his picture?

It was him. I know it!

In a perfect world, both hands would have been cut off and he would have lived. Then he would be sentenced by a judge to be put in stocks in town square where townspeople would be free to throw things at him. Thus, no cost to the public.

In fact people could pay for his food by only being allowed to throw quarters at him or something to that effect. he would have to be put in the stocks maybe like once per week and the quarters would be collected to feed the man a terrible porridge throughout the week.

But the world’s not perfect. I accept his death as a close second place.

I’m gonna need you people to stop mentioning Duncan McCleod.

Connor McCleod is the original. That man is the truth!

It must have been a Hanso sword.

I think it’s more like karma, the dude gets out Saturday and figures he will steal again, and out of all the houses he could steal from he decides the one that has a guy with a sword of all things. Thief got shafted!

Its a Highlander, so I’m gonna make the most of it.

I go to Johns Hopkins and campus is absolutely enthralled with this. One of my good friends lives right next door to the scene.

It would be total bullshit if the student was charged. With the economy as it is, crime here in Baltimore is climbing much higher than the already ludicrously high levels that are usually characteristic of Baltimore . Charles Village, a normally and relatively quite area is seeing more and more crime. We need to be able to defend ourselves as BPD sure as shit can almost never due the job (not that they’re incompetent, it’s just that there is too much crime).

Plus, there’s going to be a lot of intramural teams naming themselves the samurais after all this.

Duncan originally used a Claymore, then through the years used many different swords until he ended up in Japan. After he saved a guys life, that Japanese taught him how to fight and how to use a katana. When the guy was getting killed he asked Duncan to take the family sword.

I love Highlander. I heard they were making a new movie, but it sounds like crap.

The Macleods both used Samurai swords. Duncan’s was a copy of Connor’s sword that he inherited from his mentor, Juan SÃ?¡nchez Villa-Lobos RamÃ?rez when he was beheaded by the Kurgan in 1542.
I don’t believe Duncan’s was an exact copy of Connor’s. IIRC he (Duncan) got his in Japan after the Samurai he befriended was ordered to kill himself by the emperor. The Samurai left the sword for Duncan.

You beat me to it I see.

Sadly, all of the movies other than the first have pretty much been crap.

It would be really stupid if the student faced some kind of major consequence, just a week ago we had a drive-by next to campus by some idiots in a dodge as we were walking towards uni mini (basically a much smaller version of a wawa), there’s plenty of crime here in B’more to bust as it is.

Damn, that’s fuckin nuts. I train in classical Japanese swordsmanship using similar types of swords and other weapons (which I have several in my possession)…

I wonder if he had any kind of training or if he just had the sword just 'cuz.

That would be total bullshit if the kid was charged. I hate all these assinine rules about how people can break in and if they get hurt/killed it’s somehow your fault.

PWNED.

I… don’t know what to think. On one hand, I’m thinking, oh snap someone died that sucks, but on the other I’m like HOLY SHIT THAT’S AWESOME, and on the other hand growing out of my back, I was raised in a verily feminized society. Also: damn, I was beaten to the punch with the remarks on the scorch marks in the garage.
