Raves in D.C.

Does anybody have any tips on finding raves in the D.C. area? Xen’s post on the where to pick up chicks thread got me thinkin. I’ll be there mid march for a few days. Thanks guys.

i’ve lived in Northern VA since I was 12, and I’ve never heard of a single person talking about raves, etc… or the like in the D.C. Metro area… and who listens to that bullshit? Looking for a fun tim? Go to platinum or something, cruise M street in Georgetown, but a rave? give me a break.

No raves in D.C.? Ok maybe it’s not called a rave. I was lookin for a place to take classmates to see girls who are drugged out their gord and willing to service me on the dance floor. Such a place does exist because my penis said so!!!

Don’t listen to hoosierdaddy he’s an idiot. Kubic (www.buzzlife.com) is ranked the number one club in the country (by Mixmag). Kubic gets as many of the top international djs as most every other club in the country put together. They also have like a 20million dollar sound system. On the other hand Platinum is about the gheyest club I can think of in D.C. – it’s where they play like jlo and people roll up in escalades with spinners and 5 lcd screens in back seats showing porn even though there’s just 2 tools wearing Armani and leather overcoats in front seats.

D.C. is actually way up there as far as cities for good music. Deepdish are from there, for example (and residents at Cubik last time I checked). I don’t live there I’m just very knowledgable on clubs and the industry. If you are 21+ then you might also check out Dragonfly, Modern, and Blueroom if in mood for lounging.

Go to Bohagers up in Baltimore. Plenty of sluts, and on weekends it’s all you can drink for like $15. It’s pretty gay, but there are a bunch of sluts!

Agreed. There’s a couple big clubs in DC, like Platinum, VIP, Dream, H2O, but they’re hit or miss if you’re looking for girls. Baltimore has never disappointed me with the number or availability of girls, and it’s a lot cheaper to booze and shmooze than in DC.
