-closed guard to armbar options. worked the initial arm grab to armbar, then if they pull that arm away, swing around to triangle. And a roll through armbar also. Useful!

Never a bad choice. A good workout tomorrow is better than a cruddy one today and tomorrow.
Much yardio over the weekend, getting stuck into the door architraves and skirtings around the rest of the house finally. Prior to that sanding, painting etc and all the fiddly prep work.
Some areas now all done, but there’s doors and filling and painting touchups to go.
Solid meal at friends on Saturday. Stuck with the meat, potatoes and salads on offer, and a bit of cake at the end.
Got the smoker going yesterday and had this brisket on for about 10hours. In hindsight I should have cut the string and flattened it out, but it’s still tasty as. Just not ‘falling apart’ as I was hoping for.

-request from J to work on butterfly guard sweeps. So we worked a few options there then specific training on those in 5min rolls.
-held my own reasonably well considering was a bit rusty after a week off. Great to be back on the mats.
A few too many beers on Saturday at the footy wrote me off for Sunday. Live and learn!
