I am aware that there still are some blank spaces in the puzzle but soy definitely is not the protein of my choice.

Protein powders? Shakes? I prefer staying natural. I’m three weeks into the Tic Tac and cigarette diet and I’m already toned to the extent that my spandex shorts are all loose and floppy when I’m on the stepper.

Classic.

It helps me grow big breasts!!

You too? Mine are really coming along so nicely. I’m thinking of hitting Fort Lauderdale for Spring Break this year and dominating the wet t-shirt contests.
Damn! I’m gonna have to get on the ball as mine appear to be shrinking.

EAS whey costs 20 bucks for 6lbs at sam’s. Chocolate tastes decent, you can’t really mess up chocolate. Vanilla has always tasted like ass to me. I’ve tried both designer whey and eas vanilla and haven’t liked either. I havent’ tried the Grow! vanilla yet. A friend of mine told me strawberry designer whey tastes good.

While a little bit of soy sauce won’t give you gyno, making soy your main source of protein is one of the dumbest thing you can do to yourself.

I haven’t used anything other than Grow! for years. However, I used both EAS and Designer Whey in the past. I actually preferred Designer - it tasted better and mixed a lot easier.

I did, however, notice a change in both before I quit using them. This was around the time when Met-Rx was leading the charge to cut costs so they could get on Wal-Mart’s shelves.

In my opinion, all of the “majors” did the same thing — they cut costs by tossing their quality ingredients in the trash. None of these once-quality products is worth shit anymore, in my opinion. The drive to “go mainstream” destroyed their quality.

That’s why I’m glad to see that Biotest has actually gone the other direction with most of its products.

You could ask: “rate these motherfuckers on a list” and people would just go

1, Grow!
2, Grow!
3, Grow! etc

Maybe we should just have a standard with each response. Every response to a question should start ‘now we all know that Grow! is manna from the heavens, and anyone who dares not use Grow! is obviously a moron, but lets pretend it didn’t exist for a second’.

You can’t get a straight answer out of anyone. Here Spike is the shiznit, but over there Spike is the devil. The XBOX v PS2 debate extends to supplement companies as well, and we are all supplement nerds.
Ummmm…The only difference between your little video game anaolgy is that these products are going into you’re body. The reason everyone is saying Grow!, Grow!, Grow! is because - Why the fuck would you want to use these other two when you could get Grow! right here?

It makes no sense! Most people here that no a thing or two about what they are doing know that Grow! is the best choice for a protein powder.

No person should come onto a Biotest website and ask about what “other” protein besides the one that Biotest is selling and not expect to get a load of shit for it. It’s just plain stupid if you didn’t expect it. Not only that, but Biotest has extremely long time satisfied customers. Come on guy!

I really dont understand what the big deal is over the price of Grow!

I am a college student with no job and I still manage to scrape up the money to order $100+ worth of Biotest supps every so often (BTW Thanks for the free Grow! bars and free shipping special you did a few weeks ago)

When people hear how much I pay for my supps they usually say that they wouldnt spend the money on it. I tell them to look at how much they spend on junk food last time they went to the grocery store or how many times they went out to eat last month.

Exactly, it’s because those people don’t know what the fuck they are talking about.

Another thing to remember about the price of Grow! is the ingredients. You are not going to find a blend of protein that contains Micellar Casein, Whey Isolate, and tastes spectacular and is only 23 bucks for 2 pounds.

People get so wrapped up in the price - What about the ingredients!! What are you paying for! Sure you can get a 20 pound “Bucket O’ Whey” for 30 bucks, but what’s in the ingredients?

Seriously, why do people worry more about the price than what’s in the shit. After all, what is the reason that we are taking protein supplements in the first place? For nutrition!

(in heavy chicago accent)
If you were to grind up Michael Jordan in Dick Butkis into a fine powder and ingest this p.w.o., You would become a bahemoth of sinew and strength in just minutes! Therefore hands down Grow! would loose.

DA BULLS!
(woops, just had another little heart attack)

Maybe because some of us have been using supplements for 20+ years and can see beyond all the marketing hype to see that Grow! is really significantly better than the products he mentioned.

By the tone of his question, it appeared that he not have even known about Grow! proteins, so it only makes sense to steer him in the right direction.

From what I’ve read so far a quality whey protein isolate during the day
(interactive whey isolate natural)…and quality casein before bed (i.e. Grow!)

Will Grow! ever come out with a natural flavour ?

Have you even bothered to try Grow!?

actually have never tried Grow!, and it looks like a great product and everyone raves about it…but for the price i get on gold standard, the it’s size and quality, it’s really my top choice(followed by higher power, few dollars cheaper, tastes great)

One of the things that first attracted me to T-Nation was that although they are Biotest they aren’t afraid to discuss other good products. Grow! seems to have some solid science behind it, and I like it, use it a lot. I’ve used Designer Whey. Since they switched from aspertame to sucrolose it has improved. It’s okay (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and natural unflavored), but it is a different type of supplement than Grow!. Designer Whey is 100% whey – mostly a fast absorbing protein. Grow! is a blended product with fast/medium/slow absorbing proteins. Depend upon what you want to use it for.

On Barardi’s website he has an article on Recommended nutrional supplements. For protein he lists:

 1. Grow!
 2. Dorian Yates Approved Pro Peptides
 3. Labrada Pro V
 4. Met-Rx Protein Plus

I’ve never tried any of these but Grow!. I located local sources of Labrada and Met-Rx just in case I ran out of Grow!, but with Fed-Ex 1-3 day delivery from Biotest I’ve never had a supply problem with Grow!.

I’ve used Labrada’s Pro V and cycle with a couple tubs of that and Grow!

Good stuff.

Grow! is good no doubt and it’s cheap to buy if you’re in the States. But if you’re in Canada like me, it doesn’t make sense to buy off the site with the rididculous shipping charges. I was gonna buy ZMA from the site, and after shipping it came out to over $30.

Tim has addressed this. I’m sure he will be making the announcement about using USPS for international orders. This means big savings for us Canucks.

Soy has been consumed for hundreds of years.I don’t care about those dumb posts.I eat soy and I’m healthy.Half of those posts are just theories.

Honestly, I hate EAS products…tried them years ago, and they have a funny aftertaste and texture. Also look out, I believe these may have Soy Protein in them.

Banana Cream Grow! is by far the best tasting, most superior protein powder around. And NO soy protein. Try the Biotest stuff. And for gawdssake, please remember that this is a Biotest site!

Great idea!! Natural flavored Grow! could be mixed into savory recipes, thereby boosting their protein content!
