In “14 things that improved my life”, Chad recommended the book “The Elements of Style”, as a book that will have a general positive impression on much of what you do (writing specifically). I just bid on it on EBay.
In 40 Random Thoughts, EC says that Carnegie’s “How to Win Friends and Manipulate People” should be required reading for every high school. I have this book, haven’t read it yet but will after this advice.
Id like to add my own random though in here.
Dave Tate’s “Under The Bar” may be one of the best books I’ve read in a very long time. I just got it today, made it through 2 chapters, and had to put it down to think. I just wanted to take the time to recommend it to everyone reading this. It truly is a great read.
Besides that, it’s on sale at elitefts.com for $9.95. Can’t beat it.

I couldn’t agree with you more on this one ssn. I read it, and then reread it. A great book that I’m sure to reference for a long time. I’m very impressed with EFS so far as well. Great company IMHO.
