Considering I’m talking about a law and you implying the law applies to every mexican THAT would make you racist…

Stereotype: all black people are dumb rappers.
Racist: Black Kid gets in to harvard… He’s not possibly smart, must be affirmitive action.
Asshole: lets drag some random black kid by a chain from a truck because they are useless gangbangers anyway.

Stereotype: All mexicans are illegals.
Racist: Yes he was an officer in Iraq, but he stole somebodies license and identification.

A person would be stupid not to stereotype. It is basically a hypothesis of people and allows you to prepare yourself for bad situations, racism is when too much ignorance and self-pity come in to play. When that ignorance and self pity go overboard is when bad things happen.

Racial jokes can be very funny, unfortunately you can’t condone them because there’s always some asshole who wants to either
A) take it too far, or
B) Just wants to say it because he wished he could all his life and wants to press his luck at the moment.

Not everybody is a comedian if your jokes aren’t funny keep that shit to yourself, would you let a fulltime comedian who can’t fix cars be your mechanic?
Did you know, if you want to go to Mexico now, you need your passport? Some of you who live far from the border should know it was not this way before. I used to drive down to Mexico with nothing more than my US drivers license, which they accepted with no issue at all. Now, you need to bring a valid passport to legally enter Mexico…

WHAT FUCKING RACISTS !

How dare they ask me to provide valid ID to enter their country ! They even have the balls to have fellow Latinos bring their passports. I swear, it must be like Nazi Germany down there. Those fucking xenophobes, I swear it’s worse than the Japanese internment camps back during WW2. How dare they try to enforce their immigration laws.
DD looking for more examples of Racism??
He’s comparing something where they ask EVERYBODY for they’re passport. To where they can ask people that look a certain way for they’re passport.

I kind of like this because some innocent people try to act like racism doesn’t exist in America because Obama’s president. Watch the truth come out.

Have you seen some of the protests in AZ? You have people throwing shit, vandalizing property with racial slurs, basically much more than anything seen with Tea Parties. But those angry rich white people are nothing but racists for disagreeing with Obama. It’s the racial bias that bugs me, why do minorities get a pass when shitting on those white crackers? Heaven forbid some whitey disagrees with a minority, he automatically becomes the brother of Hitler. My point is, if you are going to call racism, you have to call it equally.

“Racist: Black Kid gets in to harvard… He’s not possibly smart, must be affirmitive action.”

Considering that standards of acceptance for where I went to school were lower for blacks and women, I did generally give white/asian men the benefit of the doubt on school abilities, that I did not to blacks/women. Simply because white men by being accepted had proved a higher level of SAT/GPA ect, than had others. Not saying that I held anything against others, but I did not make positive assumptions about their abilities before hand. Does that make me racist?
If you can tell me what the standards of acceptance was for white/asians and what the standards for acceptance was for blacks/women then no, otherwise yes.

Although I would find it hard to believe that not one black kid got an extremely high SAT score, and to lump him in with all the others would be pretty racist.
There were 2 different standards. My view was the result of the system, not prejudice.

I naturally assume that someone who got into harvard was better in school than someone who went to a community college. I have no idea the specific standards in either case.

Unless you know the standards I can’t give the Harvard guy the benefit of the doubt? Is it unfair to lump in a smart guy who went to community college with the less intelligent people there?

Your standards are ridiculous. I base my assumption of ability of a college student on the acceptance standards they passed. You are going to tell me I have to know the specific standards for Stanford before I can think they are smart?

I also naturally assume a male pro athlete is better at their sport than a female because talent standards are lower for women sports.

I make entirely rational distinctions based on systematic, not racial differences. I guess I’m a racist.

If you don’t want black students thought of differently, you should support equal treatment of all students in the system.

This is dumb on multiple fronts.

 1. I was interpreting this as a reference to the recent AZ law. Meaning I was replying in reference to the actual written law, which is not specific to Mexicans only illegals and requires cause. If you weren’t referencing the law, I was wrong to respond as I did, though not racist.

 2. Mexican isn’t a race dumbshit. I can’t be racist for not liking Mexicans. Are people who don’t like Americans racist? idiot.

Woa, Hold up there chief. What country do 99.999% of the illegal immigrants in this country hail from? If a guy broke into your house and he was black, would telling the cops a black guy broke into your house be racist? How about if he was a white guy, Would you give cops a valid peice of information? Cops are not going to be pulling people over for looking latino. What they will do is if they pull a person over and ask for license and registration because they failed to signal, rolled through a stop, were speeding, etc… And the person can’t speak english and cannot produce a valid for of identification, thier name doesn’t come up in the DMV Database, they cops WILL arrest them. #1 they are driving without a license, which is illegal, #2 they are in this country illegally. None of this is racist, some people are so fucking butt hurt over thier own skin color it makes me sick.

Here’s a hint, Nobody really fucking cares, if you are an assface, no matter what color you are you are going to be treated like an assface. If you are an upstanding person, no one is going to care what color your skin is you will be treated accordingly.

What I find amazing is that I know plenty of black people who I have talked to about racism. Some people say they see it everywhere and others seem oblivious to it. So my opinion is, Some people are over sensetive and every negative encounter they have with a person of a different race, they attribute to racism, while other people figure, some people are assholes and some people aren’t my skin color doesn’t make someone act like an asshole, they are just an asshole.

Veg,

There will be no straight up talk, taken at face value here. It must remain racial.

I had an off again, on again relationship for 9 years with a S/O that was racist at heart. It wasn’t always overt and they would deny it if asked, but it was unmistakable and clear. My life is very multi-cultural. I have a wide diversity of friends and acquaintences. My family is diverse. Her’s was very homogeneous. I myself am a mutt; irish, italian, apache indian. But I am proud of the diversity in my life and I’m richer for it in my opinion. As much as I loved this person dearly, I knew in my heart it could never work and spent a good deal of time in denial - and I’m ashamed for losing my way and tolerating it. I would try to convince myself it was her culture, her upbringing and that those ugly things didn’t really reside in her heart. I’d imagine ways we could make it work and be together. Don’t get me wrong, she wasn’t a card carrying member of the Klan, but that undercurrent was there…and her resentment of my life was clear and palpable and utlimately, ugly.

A friend always told me a man’s judgment or lack thereof when it comes to women can be forgiven, for man is weak when it comes to affairs of the heart. I agree with him, but still view my time with her as a betrayal of all that I believe and, a betrayal of those that I love. As much as I didn’t want to ever lose her, I feel at peace with her gone now.

This is very true. I encounter white assholes daily. The difference is that I don’t get to claim racism b/c of it. Blacks can have that crutch. Racism does exist, but it’s not prowling around every corner like some overly sensitive folks think.

LOL that was good.

By the way did you guys know that Mexico has one of the toughest or stricter immigration bills in the world. It is a whole lot tougher than the AZ bill.

Im racist, Openly. I have no problem addmitting it either. Why should I

But im not racist in the sense that I hate everyone that isnt white, I just cant stand certain steroetypical people including dumbass wiggers and white trash.

Also openly racist, have no problem admitting it, and think that most people that say they are NOT racist, ARE in a real life way, but either make excuses for it, can’t admit it, or are afraid to be labeled in this modern ultra sensitive society we’ve allowed the media to create.

I’m mathematically racist. I play the odds, and so do most other people. My adrenaline gets going when I’m in the Krauser’s at 2 am and see 4 black guys walk in dressed like gang pimps, but still voted for Obama.

You and horsepuss do not understand the term racist. Racist means you form a negative opinion on someone for the sole fact they have a specific “race”. A true racist does not make friends with any people of different races, or at least certain races. True racists do not exist in any large number in todays world. Your white supremists are about all there are. People who judge based on other factors in combination with race May be stereotyping, but thats not racism.

So if you see some black guy walking in the hood decked out with the saggy pants and a wife beater, a chain, and his “lid” on sideways, you will likley make the assumption, without knowing this person, but just by loioking at him that he is of the “thug” variety, and probably not someone you could go talk to or that you would want to talk to.

Now if you are golfing and see a black guy wearing khaki pants and a golf polo putting on the putting green, would you have any hesitation strolling over and striking up a conversation? I wouldn’t. So then my assumption about myself is that the persons race is not the deciding factor on how I judge them, it may play a role, but it is only to help me categorize based on previously experienced people.

I’ll say this, the rap industry has done nothing but glorify the negative aspects of that subculture. They made it cool to be bad, only in their music videos, people don’t really die, in real life, when people shoot eachother, they die.
