Racial Profiling

What you’re not grasping about the student visa is, you are not going to corrupt these men. Since the age of 2 they were taught to hate and kill the infidel, they are here to deceive us into teaching them ways to kill us in mass i.e. nuclear and chemical engineering. Do you think 6 years of American society is going to corrupt 18 years of Islam extremism? As to a reply to JS, as I stated in my analogy you may have to punish the masses for our safety, you seem to give a crap whether or not we offend non US citizens by GASP: not allowing them to learn in our country and expelling non citizens until FURTHER INVESTIGATION reveals they do not have ties to terror.

Who cares how long it takes, I don’t. They can educate themselves in spain or france where they appease the terrorists and run from armed conflict. As for terrorists civil rights being protected, look no further than the ACLU fighting for the rights of GITMO’ detainees.

Snipe,

You argue your case much better when your rants don’t turn into “why I hate liberal ideas”.

By the way, as the supposed ultra-liberal on the board, you may have noticed I agreed that you could certainly remove the granting of visas for foreign students.

My only issue with discriminatory practices is that they should not be applied to American citizens.

Whether or not such discriminations actually work in your own best interest is certainly up for discussion, as some have brought up, but really, the issues are much less severe than throwing away the rights and ability to make use of services for Americans.

I’m not even American and I rally against that every time I see people asking for that…

Show me any proof whatsoever that terrorists’ ‘civil rights’ are being protected. Where are these terrorists? In your post, they don’t exist. And the end of your post about liberal crap is drivel and totally irrelevent to the topic at hand.

Hello, ever hear of the ACLU?

Hey-don’t make me defend the ACLU. Their intentions are good, but I often disagree with them. But those referenced in that post were not terrorists. They were suspected terrorists. However, if they were only arrested and detained and not harmed in any way, I see no problem with it. Judicial review is important, though.

So, why not just engage in a thorough investigation before admitting student visas? This should be done for anyone from any country. The answer is not to just deny visas to entire classes of people because of where they’re born or what religion they are. What’s to stop terrorist groups from taking the time and cultivating a relationship and recruiting an Australian terrorist? If you remember, we had an American terrorist in league with Al Quaeda.

It’s very difficult to imagine an even more serious attack on our shores than 9-11 that would not end up with very extreme counter measures, including racial profiling.

Naturally, I pray that that day will never come. However, if it does you can all rest assured that the government will do everything, and I mean EVERYTHING in it’s power to prevent even more terrorism.

Like firing arab-speaking translators because they?re , gasp, gay?

Mwuaha… mwuahahahha…

That very same government?

Mwuahahahah…

That was very cheap and I apologize. Couldn?t help it though…

Actually, not very funny.

Keep in mind I am the person who is against discrimination. And I have proven by employing and renting to everyone regardless of their sexual preference. How many Gay’s do you currently employ, or rent to?

You can be against a certain behavior yet refuse to discriminate against people who practice that behavior. I call it “fair play.”

Ah, come on,

when did I say you fired anyone for any reason. I?m just saying, you know, you kind of posted that you think that your government would do anything to stop terrorism.

Except, of course from stopping to discriminate against gays in the military even if they work as translators. Arab translators, no less. Everything but stop caring where another man puts his penis? Because in times of crisis that is what?s important?

I don?t care where you stand on gay marriage, republican, democrat, whatever, admit that this is fucking funny in a makes-you-want-to-smash-something-because-manking -is-doomed-because-of-its-stupidity-kind-of-way.
