As an aside, my workout partner in NYC is an American black guy, very dark, but not “African dark” (much darker than Obama, for example — Obama actually being Berber or arab, but that’s another thread).

Anyway, an African black guy (who is actually black-skinned, not “cofee” like even the darkest American blacks) started working out at about the same time. He was friendly enough, but my friend was just openly hateful to him.

I asked him, and he said he hated those “Shaka Zulu Kunta Kente motherfuckers.” And then went on a tirade.

For whatever reason, it was just fucking hillarious to me.
