Quick V-Diet Question

Hello guys I have been a long time lurker, and love this website. Has helped me change my life. Well I am currently at 210 pounds and around 18-19%bf getting ready to cut down. Well I am on Day 2 of the V-diet, one thing I noticed. I have been taking straight flaxseeds, not the flaxseed meal. I was wondering if this makes a difference. I just take them down raw with water. I noticed that when I go to the bathroom the seeds just come out whole, it is nice cause each serving is 12g of fiber, and around 8g fat, but if they are coming out whole, is my body absorbing the necessary nutrients? If not I will make the necessary changes. Sorry if this has been asked before, I have searched but so many hits come up for the V-diet. I greatly appreciate the help.

dont use whole flaxseeds. if it comes out like that, then of course none of it was absorbed.

If you have whole flax seeds, you can make flax meal by putting them in a coffee grinder for about 5 or 10 seconds. Its pretty simple.

also, only grind them when your ready to use them. they go rancid pretty quick…

About how fast do they go rancid? I have only ground them up for cooking, but when I start the v-diet, I was going to grind a bunch up at time (I got a ton of flax seeds, after I am throught with these I am buying the meal!)
