I’m planning on doing a cycle of steroids to help me loose weight while getting stronger. How many calories should I eat if thats the goal? Does the fact that I’m on roids mean I can eat 4000 and still have the fat come off?
Thanks.

Post more info. No one can work with that post.
The short answer is 84
Okay, my bad. I’m going to take testosterone ethanate 500mg/week with an anti-estrogen while doing 5/3/1 (main lift +1 assitance followed by a 5-20 minute hard conditioning workout). What else do you need to know?
Info about your current diet. What has worked for you in the past.
Theres a sticked thread titled READ BEFORE POSTING
What I did before was GOMAD + pizza + 12-18 eggs + nuts etc. I got pretty fat doing that and for the last 6-7 weeks I’ve been eating 3000 calories (about 1g protein per lb) and have managed to lose 10 pounds. But, at the rate things have been going lately (1 pound a week) its still going to take me about 5 months to get lean and I dont want to make no strength gains until that time. So I’m planning a cycle.
facepalm*
Is that not a reasonable course of action, Pac?
He asked for more information… You gave him a very vague description of your diet…
“I don’t want to make no strength gains until that time” ==> “Is that not a reasonable course of action.”
What the fuck.
Sort your life out.

Whats more paramount for you gaining strength/mass OR losing this extra bodyfat you got? Basically you gotta pick the more vital to you because the hardest thing in the world [of muscleheads] to do is to gain muscle and lose fat at the same time. 10lbs of fat loss in 6-7 weeks is pretty decent if it was all fat. You could drop it even faster with a proper diet. Steroids wont really help fatloss. They can greatly minimize loses if your primary focus is getting rid of lots of excess fat. Or obviously, if you are more concerned with gaining strength than go after that goal and let bodyfat be what it is.

Theres a double negative in his statement. And Im pretty sure its there purposely. Hes saying thatd he’d like to make strength gains while in a fat loss phase.
Calm down.
lol my bad… just be more descriptive hugmo… it allows people to get a better idea of your situation in order to answer your question more effectively. I agree with saps though, check out Lyle Macdonalds Rapid Fat Loss Handbook - Did my buddy wonders. That being said it does sacrifice a little bit of muscle initially what with the body adjusting to the state of ketosis. Perhaps after trying something like this you can decide whether or not AAS are for you atm.
cheers
