Do most women even want a man who has never had sex before even if they are Christian?
Question…wouldn’t a 40 year old virgin ring more alarms than relief?
Here’s my take. The best lovers are born, and good lovers are made. The good points of a virgin are this
-disease free
-malleable/easy to train
-lack bad habits someone else might have trained into them.
-easy to please, and eager to please in return
I"m not saying a 40 year old virgin sounds attractive to me. Neither do I want a tough old hot dog thats been tossed down a hundred dirty hallways.
I think he was thinking also along the lines that they are a social retard if they have not had sex by 40.

This.
Look, I understand the religious argument (and credit pushharder with taking that to a higher level), but in reality, it does not seem that the people most adapted to survive in this society would be the ones who literally try to separate themselves from it…even if it is due to religious ideas.
Most of the successful people who think like this…seem to be the types who “got it out of their system” when young and now tell everyone else not to do what they did.

If erotic literature is pornography then the Song of Solomon is pornography. That would mean a divinely inspired, canonical book of the Bible is pornography.
Can a divinely inspired book of the Bible cause one to stumble, DM?
(When the book is closely examined graphic sexual acts are described. And the sex between the two principal characters is between Solomon and one of his 63 wives at the time. And there is one reference about Solomon showing her body off to others and the language used is surely “pornographic”)
Was it not a love letter from a husband to his wife?
Yes I understand that this is one of many wives of Solomon. It never refers to more than one wife in the book. He allowed his wife to dance for his friends, but those friends were not allowed to touch, and only Solomon was allowed to partake. No sex outside of marriage was talked about in that book.
Just a little side note. When I was in India doing missionary work, I was drawn to the book Song of Solomon. It made me think of my wife, and I wrote every day about my wife in my journal. I let her read those pages when I got home. She LOVED every page, and she drew closer to me. My wife is only for my enjoyment.

He had 700 wives and 300 concubines (we call 'em “hoes” now). He just loved one more than the others as she is the only one mentioned by name.
Being allowed to watch but not touch sure sounds like “porn” to me.
He basically had a strip club going on and the Bible seems fine with that.
Professor X wrote:<<< Jesus himself was a rebel against the usual ways of thought. >>>
Jesus was flawlessly obedient to the law of God. What He opposed were the religious people of His day who manipulated and twisted the word of God for their own ends. Same thing He’s opposed to today.
Professor X wrote:<<< His message was understanding and love…>>>
Absolutely false doc. Jesus didn’t have a message at all. He was and IS the message. The fulfillment of even then ancient prophecy beginning 6 thousand years ago in the 3rd chapter of Genesis. He is the promise to Abraham, the fulfillment of all the law of Moses, the center of the history of the nation of Israel and the subject of all the prophets from Isaiah to Malachi. He did not come here so we could lead happy fulfilled lives. It’s also true that He didn’t come here to condemn the world because He said the world was condemned already when He got here. He came to save His people out of it, like I told you before. Both Jews and Gentiles, all children of Abraham by faith.
There are two covenants of God in force in this world Doc. The first is the one that Adam broke that EVERYone is born into and is condemned under. That’s what Jesus was talkin about. And the new covenant in His blood as payment for the broken first one. There are town kinds of people on this earth. Those who have born once and are dead in that old covenant, and those who have been born again into the very life of the risen divine Christ in the new. Absolutely NOTHING makes any difference with God EXCEPT what you do with that new covenant. Jeffery Dahmer convinced me that he trusted Jesus Christ as his righteousness before the one true and living God as commanded. If I’m right then he is my brother and will be a forgiven child of my Father God for all eternity. If you die without Christ (a thing I very much hope not to be the case) you will be assigned to eternal perdition with the devil and his demons.
It doesn’t make a bit of difference if you’re monogamous, married, unmarried a total whoremongering adulterer, look at porn or not. At the judgement seat, as far as your eternal state is concerned, the only thing that will matter is if you try to bring YOUR righteousness to God or trust Jesus righteous as your own. Porn is only the point to you because you do not understand what life and death are Doc. If you ever found yourself interested I WILL, by the grace of God make you believe that what I’m telling you IS what the bible teaches. I promise. I can’t promise you’ll believe it, but I WILL promise you’ll walk away KNOWING that that’s what it says. Ya know what’s tragic. There is not a thing weird or extreme or sooper dooper religious about me. I’m just a Christian. That’s somebody who has been supernaturally raised from death in that first broken covenant to life in the blood and resurrection of Christ Jesus in the new and everlasting covenant like I’ve been saying. In myself, I belong in that lake of fire.
The reason I no longer defile myself with pornography is not because I’m better than you. It’s not because I’m not tempted. It’s not that I don’t love sex. It’s a wonderful life giving gift of total oneness with my covenant wife. The reason I say away from pornography is because the holy and spotlessly pure Lamb of God died and rose again so that He could live in my heart and I could live in Him. By the power of His Spirit in me I REFUSE to defile HIM. My obedience to Him does NOT make me right. His making me right gives me the will to obey.
Yer right about one thing. There ain’t a dimes wortha difference between MOST people claiming to be Christians today and anybody else. That’s biblical too. We’re told to expect it. If nobody can tell Christ lives in you then He doesn’t. It really ain’t a whole lot more complicated than that. Oh yes I do understand how narrow and intolerant and self righteous that sounds to you. I’m told to expect that too. If you liked what I was tellin you it would be a lie like what passes for the gospel in far too many churches today. If the people on this website liked what I’m sayin here I’d fall on my face and beg God to forgive me for perverting His word. I’m not tryin to make you like me and I’m not trying to make you angry. I’m just telling you the truth. What you do with it is between you and God.
Dude, your quoting style is downright irritating and hard to follow.
Please…after a decade, learn how to do it right just once.

Was he? Because he seemed to have quite a bit of internal war going on with some of those decisions. Those 40 nights in the desert weren’t because he was simply “flawless”.

Absolutely false doc. Jesus didn’t have a message at all. He was and IS the message.
Things like this show it may be useless to have a discussion with you. This is purely open to INTERPRETATION.
I doubt every scholar would agree with you that Jesus had no message.

Dude, she wasn’t the first woman you had sex with. There is much speculation that WHO YOU ARE is why you met your wife…WHICH INCLUDED THE MANY BAD THINGS YOU DID. You know, some would say that means the things you did allowed you to meet your wife…ie, social adaptation.
Sorry. Missed a tag. I’m just gonna leave Push and his bible butchering blasphemy to God. Literally ANYthing can be gotten out of just about any piece of literature with enough ambition and creativity along with the ignorance of your readers. He knows literally NOTHING of the bible except the plagiarized pseudo scholarship of one utterly incompetent 20th century paperback pervert. I am occupied elsewhere with meaningful dialog. The church has for 2000 years with one voice said all that needs to be said on this. I fully expect in this debauched country and whoring unfaithful church that ideas like these along with the rest of the apostasy promised in the bible will continue to grow. Don’t bother. Go ahead n claim victory. I owe. MattyG, Sqauting Bear and Kamui responses here and a half dozen at other sites long before I will waste any more of God’s time on this subject.
Believe what you want Doc, but like I said. If you’re ever actually interested, I’ll find some time to show you the history of sin and redemption from the scriptures. You WILL be convinced that’s what they say. Then you can at least know what you’re rejecting.
Nobody on this earth loves you and your family more than I do Push. Nobody. There is a living God before whom the hearts of men cannot be hidden. He knows the time I’ve spent with Him asking for your redemption and the mighty testimony that would follow. I will continue to believe that one day He will grant you the grace to understand that. Not being sneered at and reviled by most people on a website that celebrates evil like this one does would be a sure indicator of my own backsliding.
I do not live for the applause of the world. And trust the Word of almighty God. My time IS Gods’ time. And so is yours. My invitation stands. If you ever show up, we’ll take you with us into the hellish deep east side of this decaying city which is a monument to Obama’s worldview, as we bring the good news of freedom in Jesus Christ to the walking dead. You can see for yourself what an “internet warrior” I am. What you see here is who and what I am all the time.
I was actually kind of wondering how you had missed participating in this after it made it several pages. Really thought you had dropped the ball before I realized that you just hadn’t been around at all.

Honestly, what is the deal with you AVOIDING every significant question asked of you to focus on the most mundane.
Please sir, can you respond as to why the Bible seems ok with Solomon running Legends out of his living room?
Was the stripper pole holy?
I am asking these questions this way to see if you can stay on topic for once without the usual regurgitated rhetoric.
