LOL. You just accused most clubs as selling drugs on the side and most bouncers as low lifes…[/quote]
Cool, you finally got the point.
Dunno whether we could say it is “some” or “most” or “all” (there’s no official study that I know of). But I can say for sure that the wankers vs. good people ratio is skewed within the nightclub industry.
The fact people are cautioning about the dangers of working with wankers is a testimony to this.
Its not just the employees and entrepreneurs of the industry anyway, It’s also the patrons. The city I live in has about 1 million people. There are like 7 stabbings a night in the Northbridge Club area alone. Some club owners get shaken down by crime gangs, some of them are crime gangs. Who knows what the causality is.
I go out clubbing, I see a lot of people having a good time, I can often have a good time myself.
I also see fistfights, stabbings, shootings, gangs, robberies, couples screaming at each other, tears, overdoses, alcohol poisoning.
Bad things happen everywhere, but they happen in nightclub districts more often.
I guess thats part of the attraction for some, and that’s why I try and get my kicks from better places.
Tell me Prof X - are you a clubbing regular these days? Do you drink much or at all? Why would you never deliberately seek bouncing work?
Is it perhaps, because you personally do not like that particular world much?
