Question About T Level Tests

Hey Guys, been a long time lurker, this is my first post.

Just wondering if anybody knows whether or not labs will test for steroid metabolites when they check your hormone levels? I’m currently coming to the end of a 60mg ED Anavar cycle, and am hoping to take advantage of my low T levels and score some free test. Last time I got my levels checked I was at 423ng/dl (total).

You will be lucky if you even get a doctor that knows to check LH/FSH for your T levels, much less anything that could pertain to steroid suppression. You are fine.

But beware even if your T levels are low, your doctor may just be an idiot and brush you off. You have to find the right doc.

That is really incredibly sad, but not at all surprising.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but won’t a lot of doctors have you wait weeks or months and come back for another test to recheck T levels?

OP, your best bet is going to be a life extension clinic or something similar, but your insurance will probably not cover the rx.

If you’re lucky. Many will just write you off as depressed, give you a script for Wellbutrin, and send you out the door.

That happened to me. Turns out I had cancer instead.

Yeah it’s rediculous when doctors wont even listen to/entertain any of their patients ideas. That’s why i recently switched doctors. The guy wouldn’t even refer me for bloodwork to check my T levels because he “thought it would be a waste of a test”.
