Sheesh.
(Although there’s nothing wrong with harems, depending)
I wish it had been on Get a Life. Then it would still exist. No, that thread, one of the best in T-Nation history, was on Sex and the Male Animal, and was annihilated along with the Ass Worship and Asian Vixens threads in the great SAMAcalypse of a few years back.
Harems are cool. Solomon had a harem, and he was no fool. Of course, he was also no Christian.
Then again, somebody find me the verse in the Bible where polygamy is specifically outlawed. Jesus said you can’i divorce one woman and marry another, because that would be adultery. But he never said you can’t marry another while keeping the first.

Can we find you a law in the USA that does instead?
This is my locker room, my football field. I hit hard, smash heads and even spear and face mask from time to time. I love running the ball. If I see a Confused linebacker looking to tackle me I may even go out of my way to run his (fucking) ass over. On defense I am the safety who will make you pay dearly for catching or attempting to catch a pass. I am Marshawn Lynch on offense and John Lynch on defense.
Got that?
Off the field I am normally a mild mannered guy. I’m intense in my endeavors but easy to get a long with.
I use the word “fuck” here from time to time and in the privacy of my home gym. I hardly ever curse in public.
I have met many folks from the US and Canada who frequent this website and made good friends, often very good friends, with all of them. That includes the Big Kahuna himself, TC, and his lovely wife as well as several of the men on PWI, and men and women who never get near PWI. I look forward to meeting more.
I do have some humble bones in my body. They are there if you look for them. Bring your x-ray machine.
I do regret some of the things I’ve written here. Many more I don’t.
If you were to somehow win my friendship you might just end up with the most loyal (fucking) friend you’ve ever had in your life.
If you ever try to hurt someone I love I’d be pleased to slit your (fucking) throat.
I believe the Triune God of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit is the Creator of the universe, the Savior in the form of Jesus Christ, and the Sustainer of all things. Some day every knee will bow before Him. I have accepted Him as my Savior and I have faith in Him.
I suppose – in fact I have no doubt – some can point to my T-N behavior with disdain and pass judgments that I don’t do things the new Testament way in some cases but “off the field” I am a different person. I’m the same but different.
You’ve got nothing to explain to this little pipsqueak push.

True, but it was a fantastic post – fantastic enough that I won’t even object to the “every knee” line.

I said you were Correct and stopped calling you friend? Bueno?
I think this thread is one of projection rather than the Grand Inquisition of Push. You have come to accept a stereotype of what a Christian must be and are in apparent confusion that one who claims to be one, does not fit your stereotype. Christians are a diverse peoples unified by a common faith and personified in the love of their fellow man. How many F-bombs someone drops is a legalistic matter, and there are Christians invested in legalism. As Christians we do need all colors, we need our legalists, and we need our rule breakers though with a strong faith, and we need our colorful personalities. We are unified by faith, not by our linguistic delivery and our faith, though unifying, is also private.
I think the more important question is, what is your stereotype of a Christian and why does it bother you if someone doesn’t fit that stereotype.

The Bible if full of raunchy stuff.
The Bible is full of arguments.
My memory’s a little hazy, doesn’t Jesus straight up go gansta on some Temple employees?
I think the temple was running some sort of business venture inside the temple and Jesus flipped some tables and threw them out. And “chastised” them I suppose

Frankly Pat,and i think you know i Like your attitude and usually gentle touch, because i think it LYING. Any fool can go around trying to make Christianity fit a hedonistic or any other type of lifestyle. Anyone can say I am a christian. It waters down the shed blood of christ into nothing.
REMEMBER,this guy,PushHarder, jumped on me right from the beginning laughing and having a great time calling me ignorant and not worth his time. That’s the reason i have called his christianity into question. I like the locker room scenerio,it makes it perfectly acceptable to act like the devil, and still have it be ok.
Who are we supposed to take our cares to? People like SexMachine and Varq? No,to God(1Peter 5:7). I am not a christian because the bible is clear about what a christian is. No,not in everything, but in plenty of things to know that a lot of what is going on in here is nonsense and of the devil. We will ALL give account of every idle word spoken.
So,i Have the balls to say. I am not a christian because i don’t want to to what the bible teaches. A bunch of you folks in here want to make christianity what you would lime it to be, you can’t do that. You should be praying for eafhother and asking forgiveness for your sins, instead of defending some argumentative so and so who attacks people rather than try to help them.
and one more.thing…All christians know what the fruit of the spirit is. If you don’t display the fruit in your life, you’re not a christian. John the Baptist said. “Now also the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Any tree not bringing forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire.” Not my words kids. Its serious stuff to play with, that’s why i don’t claim.christianity even tho i love the bible. Confusion

No, not if you want to maintain your fiction that having (or even wanting) a harem is somehow indicative of not being a Christian.
By the way: US law just outlaws having more than one wife. There is no law on the books ANYWHERE in the United States that outlaws having a whole Turkish seraglio of concubines, as long as it can’t be proven that they are prostitutes.

You forgot whipping. He made himself a fucking whip. Not exactly what I would call pacifist…or non confrontational.
“We have all sinned and and come short of the glory of God.”
Words spoken do not take away from the fact that when you accept Jesus Christ as your lord an savior…you are washed by the blood and forgiven your sins and accepted into the kingdom of God.
We all fall short, but God forgives. EVERYBODY sins, those who are wise accept this fact and endeavor to do better every day.

Okey dokey, here’s the root of the problem; your inner demon showed his ugly head.
You got your feelings hurt. Boo fucking hoo.
You joined a tackle football game when instead you should’ve been trying to play beach volleyball or rather, shuffleboard.
You waltzed in here – right off the bat – mocking the Bible, its stories, Christianity, and Christians, and yes, I called you ignorant and not worth my time. You indeed are ignorant and you are not worth my time mainly because you’re disingenuous if not bipolar. I don’t even let my good friend Varq get away with the mocking; what makes you think you’re so (fucking) special I’ll handle you like a cheerleader instead of a wide receiver?
You got popped hard, play after play, and decided to respond by calling your Guilt play. You think you, the mocker, can make me and other Christians hang our heads in shame while you proffer your bait and switch shenanigans. Well, I’m crashing your backfield and crushing your scrawny lil running back right here and right now.
Buck up, pansy ass and take all those Guilt plays out of your playbook. Or head over to the shuffleboard court.
Ah. Thank you. I mocked no one,you however have mocked me several times. I’m done with you. Play your games and lies with the rest of your team,or whatever that locker-room analagy is that makes it ok to be a christian and a lying arrogant bullying asshole. Enjoy…
