Push/Pull Strength Building

Hi there, Ive been lurking around for a while, finally gonna make a log and see if I can keep it goin for a while…Im interested in lifting big weights, getting halp, and helping others if needed!
—have a torn right meniscus atm so squatting for the most part is out of the picture–still doing very light practice / leg work
Most recent maxes are:
635 deadlift
335 paused bench
275 military press

Im around 6’1 / 305lbs atm, looking to drop around 30-50 this year if stuff goes well, also looking to hit a 700DL / 405bench / 315military.

-usually record each WO to track progress
Starting the 3rd week of 5/3/1 cycle 4 tomorrow…may be going for some new maxes if feeling good.

I have those same red and black Jordan shorts and chuck Taylor’s…why don’t I lift like you?

PFFTWHAT?! I’ve never seen anyone with such a high strict press to bench press ratio. Really strong overhead.

Also awesome deadlifts.

I watched your 335 bench and then the 340 fail. Seems to me like you’re only a little bit of lockout strength away from doing like 365. The 335 looked incredibly easy, and the weight seems to glide off your chest. Do you do any sort of floor pressing or board pressing? I seriously think your bench could like explode big time with a little extra tricep love.

315 military is a hell of a goal man!! I’m not even sure what I could do on that but I know I need some work… I have similar goals as you for this year, I am currently 350 and play on losing about 75 pounds over the next year and a half or so… my log is “revenge of the krumms” … Good luck to ya!!

GL on that weight loss, its a big goal, but definitely doable — Its a pain in the ass getting started but goes smooth once things get rolling ;o

THat DL workout makes MY back sore LOL hell of a lift man. Right now I am sticking with rep records until I switch to more of a hard core gym… I do want to see what I can do with 315 bench on a day I’m feeling good… I haven’t gone over 245 in a while but I was using it for 6-8 reps…

^Thanks for stopping by…Rep records do have their place, progress is progress! Usually I have to peak down to a lower rep range if I want my estimated rep max to equal one another though…if that makes sense
