"Pulse Feast" For Busy Lifestyle?

Excellent response. Thank you for taking the time… curious what kind of fasting window you usually follow.

My idea was train early morning, BCAA, electrolytes and caffeine during day. 4hr eating window at night.

Congrats on your success

I either do a pretty strict 16 hour fasting period with an 8 hour eating window, or more of a pulse feast type setup. But it’s usually the former where I eat from noon till 8 pm. For me, I don’t train on an empty stomach like many IF people do. This is where Plazma has worked really well for me. I always time my largest meal of the day after I work out, or as the final meal of the day during the evening.

I think you are going to find it difficult to train early in the morning as time goes on. You can get away with it during the first two years of medical school, but once you start clinical rotations as a 3rd student it won’t be very feasible at times. You willing be rounding very early in the morning during your clerkships and especially during residency. As a junior resident, I was usually rounding from around 5 am till 6 or 630, so early workouts become almost impossible.

Awesome! Another idea I’ve been throwing around is going to gym right after class everyday so my “feast” is postworkout.

That sounds like a good idea
