Prolonged Injection Pain

I did 2 cc’s of Sus on Wednesday and it already hurt on Thursday, usually there is a day lag. Today is Saturday and it is still just as sore and there feels like a hard, ridge in my glute. Will it go away or do I have to see a Dr? It hurts like hell. Thanks.

If the injection site is NOT hot to the touch and you are not running a mild fever you are most likely just sore from the BA content of the Sus and it will pass. Hope this helps, outlaw…

If the area has never had much sust through it, it may hurt longer. Sometimes shots are wierd that way, some won’t hurt hardly at all and others will bug you for a week. Try getting your loaded syringe really warm under a hot water tap. That usually takes the propionate ache down a lot. The sure fire way make your shots not hurt is to just cut the gear with some other gear (that doesnt hurt) or just sterile oil…

I have had pain before but this time there is a large knot with it. When do I know it may be something more? Can it be infected? Thanks

Well, i’m sure you’ve had some kind of an infection before. As long as the site doesn’t look like that, you’re good (not swollen, red, hurts to touch, and you feel like crap). Unless you start to run a fever or the pain you’re feeling changes from the dull ache to a throbbing hurt, dont worry. Don’t stick any more pins in there for awhile and in a week or so everything should be back to normal. The knot will go away as well in time, just dont pump any more oil in there for at least a week.

I’ve had prop shots that have taken a week or so to fully recover from. This is when taken uncut.
Heating under water seems to help but isn’t 100% and cutting helps too. Both together is a good way to make any shot comfortable. But the best way is to get a less painful gear if you can.

Just found some different prop to the one I use normally and shot that uncut and didn’t feel a thing. So my advice is to try different varieties if you can. Even with Sustanon, supposedly the same product where ever it is made, can vary in my experience. I would try Cypionate or Enanthate instead, with no prop the injection should be virtually pain-free.

definately try getting different gear. there is underground prop available that has no pain. this is because some people apparently actually know what they are doing (most don’t and use way more benzyl alcohol than needed because they do not want to use any benzyl benzoate). in fact it sounds like you could have had a reaction to something in the product if the symptoms don’t match an infection. also 250mg/ml cyp and 200cyp/100prop mix have been seen, both quality without pain.
