Professor X: Politics Question

What the hell man? This is the second thread in a couple months directed solely to Prof X…when is someone going to start the “Slimjim, you get so much pussy, and I just wanted to bow down to you as a man among men” thread?? Vroom, feel free to step up and admit your admiration for me.
Hey, you can have the extra bullshit if you want it. I have no clue how someone saw my name in a political forum, assumed I said shit that I didn’t, and then made a whole thread to discuss things not said.

Yeah, dude,I hear ya.Sorry for the rudeness, but I really didn’t mean for it to come out like it did.I really am a nice guy,I mainly was asking if you sympathized with the Democratic Pary. The part where I said you wrote Bush lied, well,I should’ve done my research better.I don’t agree with alot of what you say,but calling you out on a seperate post was just a brain fart on my part. After thinking about my tatics, they were pretty dirty, and I opened this pandora’s box that was just totally un-neccessary.

I appreciate the offer homey, but you can keep all the male groupies…feel free to send any lonely ladies my way though.

Slim,

Let’s draw straws. The next winner/loser gets a thread directed at him (or possibly her, though I think women avoid the politics pit in general).

Do I believe we are on the best course now? I don’t. I don’t expect anyone to be perfect, but I see many faults with the expansion of government power and the apparent disregard for the working class. If anyone is walking around making the claim that they trust “republicans” with their life, they need intense mentally focused medical treatment.

What do you mean “disregard for the working class”? What socioeconomic group are you referring to and how are they being disregarded?

It means a huge focus on Big Business. Perhaps you can inform me of how the middle and lower class have been focused on with this current administration. If anything, I would say it seems as if the goal is obliteration of the middle class. Maybe your view is different, however, it sure as hell doesn’t make mine wrong.

Don’t be so defensive Bro, you don’t even know my opinion yet.

So Bush giving tax cuts to everyone who pays taxes does not help the middle and low income people? In my assessment, getting any money back, or not having to pay so much in taxes, is beneficial to everyone who pays taxes, including middle and low income. So this doesn’t count as help for the “working class”?

You see tax cuts as helping the working class? That whole 100 bucks that some guy getting minimum wage may get back was a huge come up?
It’s a 100 bucks that he didn’t have. And I have been in that place and yes, 100 bucks would have been very welcome.

Now I’m not saying that is the total answer to the problem, but it is some help.

If you honestly believe what you just wrote, this conversation is over.

Looks like you have never been in a place where 100 bucks would have been the big difference. Must be nice.

But for all of us who are not rich doctors and know what it was (is) like to not have enough money to pay the bills at the end of the month, any additional money would have been a lot of help.

Stop being ridiculous.

This is a fairly accurate assessment of the Bush tax cuts. While it is not my responsibility to explain remedial level economic theory to you, this research shows the inherent flaws of the Bush administration’s belief in Supply Side economics. This is not to say that Keynesian economics is not without its own set of flaws, but it is clear who benefits the most from these tax cuts.
