I’m needing some assistance finding a trusted endocrinologist skilled in TRT near me. At the age of 21 I had T levels of ~200. At the age of 22 I’m at 100. Normal range was supposed to be 300-1100.
Also I started training hard in the gym my freshman year of highschool. Started taking my diet seriously right after I graduated at 18. Never done any PEDs of any kind. (No judgment on anyone who does, just thought it might make a difference in the recommendations).
I live near a small town called Beatrice, Nebraska. My GP recommended me to a place in Lincoln, NE where I am on a waiting list till February of 2019. I really don’t want to be waiting that long.
The majority of endocrinologist don’t specialize in TRT, so you are looking in the wrong place for a specialists. Insurance based healthcare has ignored TRT for decades do to seriously flawed studies that showed TRT causes prostate cancer. It was taught in medical school for the last several decades and is why there are no specialists for fear of getting slapped with lawsuits.
You can choose to play the doctor lottery for years or find someone who specializes in TRT outside of insurance networks, you may need to pay out of pocket and go private. Private practice are where the true specialists are found, sports medicine and anti-aging.
