Primaries Possibilities Thread

With the field far not yet solidified for primaries next year I figure an umbrella thread to discuss possible unannounced candidates would be in order.

So to start things off, I know there are some Fred Thompson fans on here who will be happy to hear that the rumblings surrounding a possible run from him have gotten substantially louder recently.

His experience is limited, but given the baggage of the the other top tier Republican candidates, his public visibility, and his undeniable charisma, he might make a serious contender for the nomination.

Man, I wish someone would give Ron Paul a chance.

Duncan Hunter is a potential candidate. Would also like to see Thompson make a run.

I don’t think he’ll run nor do I think he has a chance but Gingrich is starting to get some traction. Maybe he is a VP choice for somebody.
