Arguing entitlement reform is a worthy issue, while paying for people who should not even be here isn’t. You are going to pay for immigration either on the front end or the back end, the former is much cheaper.
Pretty sure the standard is set higher for Trump because he’s the republican nominee… It matters a little more when the individual becomes the face of the party you associate with.
A brilliant reply to the “If you’re not for Trump, you’re for Hillary!” puzzlewits:
“If he indeed is the Republican nominee, Donald Trump almost certainly will face Hillary Rodham Clinton in the general election. That fact, sobering though it is, does not suddenly make him fit to serve as president, because — to repeat — the problem with Trump isn’t that he is less fit to serve in comparison to Mrs. Clinton, but that he is unfit to serve, period.”
Just so I am clear, you never lock your doors or roll up your windows, because doing that would be races, right ? And I’m sure if someone did break into your home, you wouldn’t dare suggest they leave because they are in search of a better life, yes ?
As far as the “these are our neighbors” bullshit, my neighbors knock before they enter. They don’t come over when I’m not home, nor do they plan to move all their shit in and stay indefinitely while I am expected to pay for all their needs.
Your attempt at suggesting racism is nothing more than avoiding having to defend the argument which the open borders people fail at winning. You should not win a golden ticket for doing nothing more than evading the Border Patrol or overstaying a Visa.
It could be successfully argued that Obama was also not fit to be President, with absolutely no previous experience in any arena except for his 2 years in the Senate. What Trump brings to the table in business experience dwarfs what Obama brought with his 2 years in politics. As far as his pompous nature, I can tolerate that much easier than a smooth talkin’ bullshitter. By no means is he an ideal candidate, but he is the product of an establishment who is being punished for their lack of addressing the concerns of everyday Americans.
Crossing the border does not in any way carry the same moral weight/decision as breaking into people’s homes…That is absolutely ridiculous. It is most comparable to a homeless man sleeping in the public park (or a restricted part of the public park at least) after hours.
