Predictions? Let's Have It!

FYI, I’m done talking about the EC.

It isn’t gong anywhere, and that’s because it works.

That’s actually possible as there was much voter fraud reported on the part of the democrats, but not investigated because Trump was the eventual victor. I have no idea if it would comprise 200,000 votes but it is certainly possible,.

There were, I think, 3 districts in Philly back in 2012 where Romney did not receive even one single vote. Does anyone else find that odd? Of course there was no investigation because even if Romney won PA he would still have lost the election. But, the democrats play book usually includes voter fraud.

And this is nothing new think Kennedy Vs. Nixon. Had there been no voter fraud in Illinois Nixon would have been elected in 1960.

Best way to start a good conversation, clearly anybody who thinks differently doesn’t understand.

Or 5.4% of the total EC.

Exactly the point. If you live in those states, your vote is already decided. You have no voice. Same goes for deep-red states.

No, it forces them to pay attention to swing states, and most importantly swing states with more EC votes.

How? you already said there vote is decided… that means they don’t influence the election result.

Nice jab and straw man, doesn’t help your argument though. This has nothing to do with catering to me, and I never said anything along those terms.

Thanks.

I find the truth a very compelling way to start, yes.

smh and usmc leave, thunderbolt stops posting & beans starts posting like mad,

just can’t quite put my finger on it :innocent:

The fact is our country is basically 50/50 at the moment and each side in the last 30 years or more has been taking turns being president which seems fair, so whatever we have now is working for the most part. Your NYC problem seems isolated to NYC, and yes its a valid problem for them but nationally its not as big of an issue because its 1 of 50 states.

The bottom line is nothing will be fair to everyone, take a fictional state where 99% live in the city and 1% are rural. The rural will just be SOL and that is just part of life.

Ha.

Honestly, work slowed down until January, and the results of the election were too amazing to not come back and talk up with you folks.

Sucks those guys left, but such is life I guess. @thunderbolt23 has left before, and SMH and @anon50325502 are just being sore for awhile, I’m sure they will both be back when the pain wears off.

Literally the only bad part of the election is Trump won. And honestly, that 4 years will be worth of all the leftist tears, and crumbling of the SJW and shit arguments I’ve heard for the last 8 years.

The globalists, the elites, the arrogant smug pricks, the regressive left, the “hate speech” and thought police all got their ass kicked Tuesday. Add in Brexit and good god man, it’s glorious.

Dealing with shitty trump will be worth all of it, because the shitty press will actually do their job now that a democrat isn’t in office.

That’s really what both parties do as I have on doubt you have noticed.

Don’t forget the entertainment value that we will be treated to when the White House Press tick of Trump.

“Get out…now!”

LOL

And I can’t say that I will ever feel sorry for the press Wikileaks tore the mask off of those bandits.

The Sharia party will have a tough time getting any Electoral votes.

The E.C. stays!

One more point about Obama’s 8 years. He was such an ineffective force for his left wing causes that republicans gained something like 900 seats in state houses across the country. Also, 34 republican Governors which I think is an all time high for either party (someone correct me if I am wrong). And on top of that republicans control the Senate, House and of course the Presidency.

So, I know I have been very critical of Obama and his failed Presidency but it’s time to give credit where it is due. He helped elect hundreds of republicans nation wide.

For that I say for the first time to Barack Obama…thank you mister President.

And…I hope you enjoy your retirement when you are not either out marching with scum like Sharpton or behind the scenes planning such events.

Ya, to clarify “they” is not party specific. Swing states get attention because those are the votes that matter. A GOP vote in California/Washington/NY is wasted just as much as a Dem vote in Utah/Texas/anydeepredstate.

Thank you for that bit of wisdom. You always know just the right words to say and at the right time.

Yes, very true, so I wonder what your point is. Not being sarcastic I am actually not understanding.

Give him a chance before you declare him shitty, all I’m saying. If he is, I’ll be right there with you. But so far we’e seen:

  1. He’s calmed tensions with Putin and Assad at least based on their statements
  2. Has corporations saying Christmas again (Trump kept saying we’ll be saying merry Christmas again when he becomes president)

I think that’s pretty good so far.

According to this expert a Trump ban on Muslims would hold up if he worded it differently

Allowing people who live in states that are lopsided to actually have a voice. I think the benefits the EC gives to states through the senate votes (2 per state) can remain, but going to congressional district instead of winner-take-all would make it so the election is not decided by 5ish swing states.

I’m agreeing with Activities Guy but also like how small states get a slite advantage in the EC (so they are not ignored) and believe it would be possible to accomplish both.

While a party loyalist may in fact feel bitten in the ass, I will be more than welcoming.
