Pre-WO Supps to Boost Strength

Hey ya’ll,

I’m currently in a cutting phase and I was wondering if Powerdrive or Spike (or both) could help boost my performance in the gym. I don’t think I’m losing muscle mass because the scale is creeping down very slowly and I usually have good workouts scattered with the occasionally crappy workout. so i want to take some supps that can boost my performance to help me maintain/gain muscle mass.

I think I might order 1 Powerdrive and 2 10cap Spikes and use both before workouts. advice?

Both those are good options, give consideration to Alpha-GPC if you wish to spend a bit more (Effective? Definitely. Cost-effective? Maybe)

Aside from that, a bunch of glucose always gets me going mentally and physically.

silverhyrda thanks for the advice. i take 15 g of gatorade power 30 min before lifting which is about 14 carbs/55 calories. but i still need a lil extra. dont want to eat mroe sugar because I’m trying to control carbs. and im still not so sure about alpha-gpc, have u tried it?. i guess ill start with Spike/Power Drive and see how that works.

I’ve used Power Drive in the past and find that I get a significantly better pre-workout effect from Alpha-GPC.

Stacking Spike Shotgun and Alpha-GPC works well, too.

Don’t Spike and Power Drive have some of the same active ingerdients?

You could also increase food intake if your lifts are going down. But I would second Alpha-GPC as a preworkout supp.

i switched to jack3d lately. pretty good results so far. i add a little leucine and more creatine

Here’s what I’d do.

Order a shirt out of the store here, find a gym with alot of hot chicks, and watch what happens.

If you can sport it like a champ, it’ll give you all the boost you need.

They do not share any of the same active ingredients.

I usually mix up some Gatorade powder and water before I leave for the gym, and take a few mg of caffiene. Then at the gym, I drink my Whey & Gatorade shake to keep me going.

Power Drive gets me 80% more reps per set ona any excercise in any rep range. That’s right, I can get 9 reps with my deadlift 5RM 45 minutes after a dose. I bet some of it is placebo, but it’s one hell of a product.

Spike is great as well, makes me a little stronger but incredibly alert and with laser-like focus. And I think that helps up caloric output a great deal.

I warmly recommend buying a pack of each to determine how YOU respond to them, but they sure do wonders for me. Hope that helps.
