There was a thread about a month ago discussing t-shirt slogans. I mentioned in that thread that a friend and I were in the process of launching a website featuring t-shirts of this nature.
Well, it is not completely up and running, yet…but we are damn close.

First of all, I want to apologize for posting the URL before we had any material actually uploaded to the website.
I guess that I was a little premature (the wife is always complaining about that) in my announcement. I was excited because we have made some great progress in the last few days, and I wanted to share.
The site itself will feature 12-16 designs initially. All of these designs will be screen printed with plastisol inks on a high quality t-shirt. We are planning on sticking with black t-shirts and white inks (we dig the simplicity), but we may be open to suggestions.
The website will also have a couple of cool features, such as a fan gallery. Customers will be able to submit pictures of our “t-shirts in action.” For example, if you pull a new PR while wearing our t-shirt, then you can submit your picture to be entered into a contest. We want as much interaction with our customers as possible.
I will try to submit JPEGS of a couple of the designs when I get home tonight.
you may however want to be careful with using submitted slogans from the previous thread; I’m not 100% sure on the copyright laws where you live, but down here (Australia) copyright is automatic, and the old thread is proof of ownership by other members. You could however argue that by submitting them they were giving you the right to copy.

I actually had sat down quite a while ago to brainstorm design ideas. I think that it took approx. 45 minutes to generate 35 design ideas (this was a ton of fun, by the way), which I then narrowed down to the 12-16 designs which we will open with shortly.
When the thread started it was sort of weird because I was seeing a lot of similar ideas (lift, eat, sleep, repeat, as an example)…I assume that is because the members of these forums tend to think in a somewhat similar fashion.
So, I am pretty comfortable with our position with regards to copyright laws, but I still would like to contact a member or two that posted ideas that we may be interested in using at some point in time. I am definitely not into screwing anyone over…not exactly the way to run a business.
