AllTraps wrote in his original post:

“Pics can be anything that you feel is “powerful” (gals, muscle, scenery, art, whatever)”

“Please, do not post pics that already appear in the Powerful Images section on this site”.

I didn’t RTFM. Sue me.

I also get, now, why AllTraps sounded a bit miffed at my comments.

Gentlemen, my apologies. I’m an idiot and I’ll see myself off this thread now.

FAR from being an idiot, Brother!

Got some pics? (I’m looking!)

Damage, or anyone else - isn’t there a story that goes with this guy? I think he’s like 80 years old and he had an article written up about him in a local paper given that he’s 80 and can probably kick the asses of most 20-year-olds. If anyone has that, I’d like a copy of it. Thanks.

I love this one.

I give this an 8.8

One Marine’s ultimate sacrifice, as written by the photojournalist:

When 2nd Lt. James Cathey’s body arrived at the Reno Airport, Marines climbed into the cargo hold of the plane and draped the flag over his casket as passengers watched the family gather on the tarmac. During the arrival of another Marine’s casket last year at Denver International Airport, Major Steve Beck described the scene as one of the most powerful in the process: “See the people in the windows? They’ll sit right there in the plane, watching those Marines. You gotta wonder what’s going through their minds, knowing that they’re on the plane that brought him home,” he said. "They’re going to remember being on that

plane for the rest of their lives. They’re going to remember bringing that Marine home. And they should."

VERY Powerful…

What can be more powerful then young men who sacrifices themselves for others? Our Marines are special, I have a young man in my church who is like a son to me, and I am very proud to call him a Marine. Jesus said: “Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.” The Marines are every American’s friend, and I praise God for them.

George

They have a Credo that almost burns in their Soul…

NO Marine will be left on the Battlefield, alive, wounded or Dead…

(The stories those guys can tell…)

Have this above my desk at school. Now that defines power.

Not miffed bro. Just wanted to keep everything positive.

How about you post a pic you personally find powerful (such as a bigger image of your avatar; which is a Iron Asylum drawing is it not?; I think I have that image on an old t-shirt)

I’m not sure if that’s the original source, but it’s where I took it from. I trimmed the sides a bit, it was originally wallpaper sized.

Anyone know what “Daca vrei sa arati bine!” means?
