LOL - That’s pretty funny, but if anyone EVER calls me a “tit support system” I will beat them to death with my hockey stick. Really…
Why does everyone keep saying they can look at porn anytime they want to like they can’t do the same of strength athletes and strongwomen? if you want to see those types of pictures they aren’t any harder to come by than porn. (well maybe a little) Anyways, I just think it is a dumb argument, google female body builder and you will have more than enough pictures of women trying to be men.
The Vroomenator speaks! Good to read one of your posts it’s been awhile. I give all the credit in the world to the strong bodybuilder or fitness type women and some of them I find very attractive, but I love to see and on a whole find the sex kitten healthy chested (prefer the natural large chested myself) women very appealing! One of the most attractive women I have ever seen is one that Vegita has posted quite often Veronica Zemanova… very natural and very attractive! To keep everybody happy a good mix of both on the powerful images is good thing.

How do I think Lonnie and Chad feel to see their articles posted next to a woman? Uhh, same as they always do, like men. Do you know Chad or Lonnie? Do you really think they get all upset? And do you think the rest of us–many who have gone to school as long as Lonnie or Chad–are somehow less evolved because we like pictures of women?

Males are very visually stimulated animals. I understand this. But there is the issue of credibility and professionalism. I will stick with my point that posting the “eye candy” photos on the home page erodes this sites credibility.
I thought this was a site about muscle building.
From your own FAQ:
"Messages must be appropriate for Testosterone. In other words, they must pertain to building muscle, losing fat, training, supplements, diet, anabolics, or basic Testosterone kinds of issues. Oh yes, to accommodate TC, the occasional “sex” thing’s cool, too. Just be mindful to reflect the Testosterone tone. "
Guess things have changed. Note the word ‘occasional’.
So do I TC, and probably better than you do, LOL.
Golly, I’ve checked the whole site and found nothing that said “Men Only”. I thought this site was for people who wanted to build muscle and strength.
From your own mission statement:
“Welcome to Testosterone, the website that almost charged the world’s highest subscriber fee! Huh? Why is a website, particularly one that focuses on muscle building and physique enhancement in general, bragging about almost becoming the most expensive site in the world? No, we haven’t fried our brains out by reading too many Joe Weider editorials (actually, we’re in withdrawal from not getting enough real training information).”
See, nothing about men only.

My personal whims? Hey, I’m trying to help you out here.
So, let me understand this. If you are a female athlete who has worked her ass off to gain recognition in her sport, this site will not post her picture unless she is cute? Like I said, it’s about credibility.

Wow I’m in love:P

Yea pookie, she is a little heavy in the ass, but she definitely has the genes for big boobies.
Well there’s the answer to her question about where the Powerful Image girl’s tits went. The girl in the image is not shredded, but is pretty lean. Her tits lost fat with the rest of her. And she doesn’t look like she had the “big tits” gene to start with.
Different bodyfat, different look. I’m just saying that denigrating lean, athletic women because they have smaller breasts shows the insecurity of the denigrater about their body more than anything.
I was just a bit surprised at the precision. Not 5 pounds, but 6… sounded a bit too precise.

Hehehe, this is funny. Thing is pookie, girls that get implants ARE like a tit-support system for a while, and I think that it’s a good thing.
Put yourself in their shoes for a second: let’s say that you have a 2 inch dick. Then, you get some surgery that costs a couple of grand that makes it ten inches. You will be wearing tighter pants for a while. You will be grinning your ass off when you catch a girl checking out your package. Give them their moment in the sun, buddy.
This is not weakness as you might perceive it, it is just normal.
I guess I just feel that if you’ve got nothing more to offer than big tits (or a big dick), you’re either selling yourself short or very superficial.
That’s the weakness I see; that if the only way anyone is ever going to be interested in you is because you’re carrying large silicone bags in your chest, you’re not in line for a happy life.
They are about three pounds a peice. Maybee a little more, maybee a little less, so I figure six. Its an nice number!
I read this blog post authored by U. of Wisconsin law prof Ann Althouse, and thought that the main idea was applicable to this discussion:

“Condoleezza Rice’s Commanding Clothes” is the headline for a piece in The Washington Post ( http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A51640-2005Feb24.html ):
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice arrived at the Wiesbaden Army Airfield on Wednesday dressed all in black. She was wearing a black skirt that hit just above the knee, and it was topped with a black coat that fell to mid-calf. The coat, with its seven gold buttons running down the front and its band collar, called to mind a Marine's dress uniform or the "save humanity" ensemble worn by Keanu Reeves in "The Matrix."
As Rice walked out to greet the troops, the coat blew open in a rather swashbuckling way to reveal the top of a pair of knee-high boots. The boots had a high, slender heel that is not particularly practical. But it is a popular silhouette because it tends to elongate and flatter the leg. In short, the boots are sexy.
This piece, written by Robin Givhan, heavy-breathes about the sexuality of Rice’s clothes, even though all we’re really talking about here is that the outfit was all black (“The darkness lends an air of mystery and foreboding”), that the boots had high heels (“Heels ? alter her posture in myriad enticing ways, all of which are politically incorrect to discuss”), and that women often dress much less attractively (“She was not wearing a bland suit with a loose-fitting skirt and short boxy jacket with a pair of sensible pumps”).
Women with power easily unleash ideation about sex – and sex and power. If the woman can’t be contained by the thought that her powerfulness has removed her sexuality altogether, then the thought becomes that her sexuality has merged with her power. In the case of Condoleezza Rice, who has a high position of power and is distinctly attractive, she seems to become a strange new being – a superhero ? like Neo in “The Matrix”!
Is it wrong to talk about powerful women this way? I say no. Image, fashion, and beauty are all important. And we certainly didn’t refrain from talking about how the male candidates for President looked in 2004. We obsessed over their ties, their hair and their makeup, and the bulges under their clothes. So go ahead and spout your theories about the meaning of Condoleezza Rice’s high-heeled boots.
Mine is: these boots are made for running for President.

A couple of follow-up points:
This site is about weightlifting AND being a man–the latter involves good things and bad things and things that you might consider immature.
I’ve followed this formula for years now. It worked for Muscle Media 2000 and it works here, too. Amazingly well.
And nowhere in my response did I say this site if for men only. Women are welcome in the locker room, but they can’t expect us to throw a towel on just because they’re in the room.
Yes, Elite is nice, but good God, they aren’t even on the radar as far as traffic. They might be some day, but not yet. Meanwhile, we’re growing at a faster rate than ever before. We must be doing something right.
And I didn’t say the woman had to be cute. She has to be pleasant to the eye in some way: nice muscles, nice physique, nice body, nice face, something. I apply the same crtieria to pics of men.
Maybe you can help me out here. I have the hardest time finding pics. Babe pics are easy, but I can’t find that many inspiring pics of male or female physique athletes! I’ve even taken to cruising Russian sites to no avail. Hell, try finding great pics of Cory Everson! It’s hard. And I’m further limited because the pics have to be vertical and not horizontal.
If you can find some great pics that meet my criteria–like the one that was posted this past Wednesday–I’d welcome them.

Ah. I thought it was 6 pounds each.

I’d nominate this one for this week’s “Powerful Images” hottie.

Thanks!

For the record, I didn’t say I found her attractive…
BTW, TC, you should check out the pics on ESPN.com’s Page 2 site – they’re doing their annual “Sexiest Female Athlete” contest, and they have plenty of pictures.
That girl scares me. But in a good way. In that sort of… Yeah… I think every guy knows what sort of way.
There ya go! A beautiful pic of Monica Brant! Can’t go wrong with her on there.
I’m not sure if what I would submit would meet your criteria. You didn’t like the ones I already posted.
Another suggestion I would like to make is to add some info about the photo. Who is it? If it is a performance pic, then say who they are and how much they are lifting, whether it’s a record, etc. That kinda stuff.
