I can’t really tell a difference in the quality of my workout between the two. Both really increase my focus and energy, just not a discernable difference between the two.Spike does leave me feeling “buzzed” longer. From a pure workout point of view is there an advantage between them?
While I’m not exactly sure which would be scientifically more suited for preworkout (they both work great for it), here’s what I do/have done. . .
I’ve found that taking Spike before my workouts, followed up by Power Drive a few hours after my session (to aid in CNS recovery) to be very effective.
CW has also mentioned this protocol in an article.
From experience I notice the biggest difference during my endurance work. Being a triathlete, Spike is a huge supplement for me. I utilize it once a week on my very intense interval sessions or long-slow-distance sessions. For me Spike is very subtle I just find that I have much more push and determination during my workouts. For someone that already hit high on the determination meter Spike still added a significant push.
I have gone to using Power Drive as a recovery after my Surge. I have yet to use Spike before weight training. IMO Spike is meant to keep you more focused. It may not help you break your PR by 10lbs but it helps you keep your mind where it should be… on the work out.

Cy?
Thanks in advance.[/quote]
I like atmosphere’s idea and rationale. If you see no difference, I suppose you could simply use them on alternate days so each product lasts longer.
