Post-Workout Meal Before Bed

I like working out at night. It feels like my energy levels are higher then in the early part of the day and typically will have better workouts at this time of day. I also work very early in the morning so there really isnt a choice.

How bad is it to take your simple carb drink post-workout and then your high carb+protein meal and head to bed afterwards. Right now I’m just eating to gain size and strenght but of course I want as minimal fat gain as possible.

Has anyone experienced different gains while taking their post-workout meal during the day or right before sleeping?

it’s fine, your body is in need of food post workout;just dont’ take that as “its ok to eat a carvel ice cream cake before bed” and expect to get jacked!!! hah

haha what about sugar-free cookies(which by the way have white flour…so much for a "healthy’ aternative).

My post-workout meal is usaully just oatmeal, rice or pasta with some sort of protein.
