lol… Its a UNICORN DAMMIT!
i drive an 02 jetta GLI, its modded. its my 6th one. i have a thing for them but no pics currently…

Ho’s love my vette

I have a 2003 BMW 540i, the last year they made this model. I love my car.
Pros: Very rare car- only a few like it in the country with this color (Imola Red). Only 50k miles. Has the M-sport package, also rare. Very fast, very comfortable, seats 4 or 5 comfortably. Looks fantastic. I’ve taken it to 140mph before.
Cons: I weep openly every time I take it in for a tune-up. I mean, I cry like dude did at the end of Crying Game.

First love never dies, eh?
My first car, back in '01: FIAT 126
Had it for two years, couldn’t afford more with my student income.
The car weighed about 1300 lbs, I was about 290 lbs.
Was a great ride in the city and didn’t guzzle a lot of gas. Butt to nose measured exactly 299 cm (~ 117.7 in), never had problems finding parking space.
v_max ~ 84 mph @ 26 HP (eng. displacement ~ 700 ccm)
Could go about 90 mph if you pulled the choke -.-
Damn, good times.

Back then, I had a lot of phantasies about tuning the shit out of a Fiat 126. Some guys did just that, replaced the old 26 HP engine with a 180 HP counterpart. Pretty speedy business, that.
Just imagine: coasting along the freeway, letting jeering BMW fratboys overtake you and then chasing the shit out of them, pedal to the metal ![]()

Either way, nice horse.

I love Accords. Can’t say they’ve ever made any pussy gravitate towards me though…they kind of convey the message “my driver has a portfolio of conservative investments and makes sure to eat 40 grams of dietary fibre per day”.

It’s been fun! But I’m on the prowl for a Mercury Marauder now. Damn things are a pain in the ass to find though.[/quote]

Nice. I have an 02 “Dinan 540i”. All intake work, lowered an inch, big rubber all the way around, front strut, chipped, CAI, short shifter 6 spd. Black on black on black (black rims). Tops out at about 165… 100k miles, brought it 2 years ago with only 30k on it.

Yeah, sleepers FTW.
2009 Scion TC. It’s quick, gets good mileage, and pretty fun car to drive. Will be replacing it within a year or two for something more practical for CT’s winter… Like something with AWD.

'05 Silver WRX. Slightly modded.
Pro- I live in New England, AWD is rather nice.
It’s real fast, especially around turns/corners/off-on ramps!

I mentioned I wanted something with AWD for the winters… I was actually considering within a year or two selling my TC (which holds its value pretty well) and picking up a 2010 WRX. I love the new hatchbacks. If I go older I’d get an STI… but I have a feeling the turbos on those are gonna destroy my insurance if I don’t wait a few years. Being 22 and wanting nice things sucks ![]()

Insurance shouldn’t go up, its not a “sports car” like a 2 door sports car. Most insurances pass it off as a safe option having the AWD. That’s my experience anyways but I am older (32). Check out Progressive, most car insurances are idiots and don’t realize its “fast”. Don’t do the STI, do an older WRX or even a non-turbo Impreza and mod it a bit.

Definitely want at least a WRX, Ive been told modding a WRX is a better option than a STI. What do you have done to your WRX? And I was considering the 2010 WRX, and after having the impreza as a rental I made up my mind that’s gonna be my next car. It just felt nice to drive, especially in the snow. Can only imagine what it’d feel like with a little more power.
Anyway, thanks for the advice! I really need that AWD especially now that I’m commuting 20 minutes to work instead of 10. Snow will screw me over.

2009 Vauxhall Astra 1.8 SRi. This one isn’t mine but looks exactly the same.
It’s the most love I’ve ever felt for an inanimate object.
