I’m 7 weeks into my Test-E and Tren-E cycle. All has been well in terms of injections until now. 5 days ago I injected into the glute with a 1.5”x 25g syringe and have recently had some persistent soreness/tightness about 3-4 inches in the muscle below the injection site.
My injection techique was the same as always — I made sure to swab the top of vial and injection site carefully, in addition to taking other precautions that come with previous cycle experience.
After my injection I didn’t notice much pain at all and the site felt relatively normal in terms of PIP when compared to other injections I’ve had. However, there is an ongoing stiffness/soreness that I began to feel around day 2, and it’s now going on day 6. It doesn’t seem to be getting worse, but it’s still not going away or rapidly getting better.
It isn’t bothersome and doesn’t cause any pain unless pushed or pressed (similar to a bruise) but this is definitely inside of the muscle. If I rotate to lift my leg in certain directions, I can feel there is a tight/sore feeling inside the muscle.
There is no noticeable swelling, redness, itch, etc. that would lead me to believe it’s an infection. Other than the muscle soreness, I’m not experiencing any fever or flu like symptoms either.
I would assume that this is just some gear that migrated a bit down the muscle outside of depot and crystallized, but it’s significantly lower than the injection site itself, which I’ve never quite experienced before.
Could anyone give me some advice? Are there any others who’ve had an experience similar to mine? Thanks.
