In the past I worked for a company that produced plastic drink cups and printed graphics on them. Working in the graphics dept. I would occasionally have to approve print jobs before production. Due to health standards, hair nets were required and if you had facial hair, you had to wear a “face” net. Well, I got tired of wearing both, since my head was shaved, I didn’t see a point. I decided to just stop and only wear the face net.
All hell broke loose! People on the production floor were freaking out, pointing to their heads and pulling their own hair nets telling me to put one on! I just rubbed my head to say “no fucking hair”!
So, inevitably, I had to have a talk with the production manager. He told me I had to wear one. I asked why since I didn’t have ANY hair on my head. He said, “well that’s the rules”! “Ok”, I said. “Then I guess that means every clean shaven face out there should have to wear a face net just like me”.
Ass hat just said, “well, that’s just ridiculous”. [/quote]
Next time you go to the production floor, walk in naked wearing a hair net around your genitals. Then report back what happens. I bet it will be a good story.

Fortunately, I’m not employed there anymore. However, that would have been a helluva last day!
I guess it depends on what you think is manly. I used to have long hair and I freakin loved it (so did the ladies) and it made me feel badass like a caveman or aztec warrior or something. And similar to what iron dwarf said, long hair kept me from looking like a little boy. I ended up cutting it all off.
Currently it is shaved, but it was just for convenience’s sake. All the weightlifting and MMA was making it freaking hard to deal with, idk how Clay Guida can stand it. Now that it is short I try to make sure I have facial hair most of the time to balance things out.

I was just wondering how many of you guys shave your head, or keep your hair very short. The reason I’m wondering about this is because I shaved my head two days ago after years of long hair (ponytail long). I suddenly felt the urge to shave it off, something many people have since told me they’d never ever expect me to do (hell, half a year ago I never would have thought I’d do it either). I suspect this has something to do with the tribulus terrestris I am taking since 1,5 months.

Hmm, I’ve been taking trib and have not had even the slightest urge to shave my head.
I either go with a fade #1 on the sides, or bald fade, both of which are very short on top. Every time I hint at shaving the shit out of it the wife gets pissy. It’s easier to deal with more hair than her. But I do shave my balls and wipe my own ass.
I buzz my hair every 1-2 weeks (I keep it very very short), I have done it for a while now and I just like the way it looks…I also HATE fucking with hair products. I don’t have time for that shit in the morning when I’m getting up at 5am to do morning cardio, then make breakfast, shower, get ready for work…the last thing I need to do is spend an extra few minutes styling my hair.
if i could still grow it it would be long as hell, because i’m bald i shave it. sometimes i let it get stubbly to match my beard. when you are bald you have to make fashion choices relating the beard and burns to the hair, it sucks to have just two choices: shave it or scruff it.
you either have good hair or you don’t, their is no in-between you’re balding or you are not.
I keep my head shaved, although I’m lazy, and sometimes let it go for a week or two before I get the clippers out, and then the shaver. I use an electric, which makes things a hell of a lot easier, and more convenient. It is nice not to have to worry about combing it, but you do have to worry about sunscreening it. Sunburn to the dome = not a good time. I mostly keep mine short just for the looks. Sure people at work are afraid of me because I’m built, and bald, and generally have a menacing look on my face, but I just happen to have a rounder looking face, so I think I look like a shmo with longer hair.
Also, the reason wrestling stars keep their hair long is to sell their act. Think about it, if you get “punched” in the face, its a lot easier for people in the back row to tell when they see a big mop of hair go whipping through the air. They keep it long just to exaggerate their movements even further.
While on topic of shaved heads, anybody get dry skin on their scalp? I have recently and have been moisturising it. Its not as bad now, but I think it might be from the using the razor so much.

LOL!
In all seriousness, Jas, there are some long-haired dudes who look like total tools. That bounty hunter guy (Dog?) looks completely moronic. Of course what he’s got is damn near a mullet.
On the other hand, some guys are really handsome sans hair: Michael Jordan, Yule Brenner (RIP), The Rock, etc.
