I take it no one actually read the article because nowhere does Sanders say anything related to eugenics. Of course conservatives, because their voters are reactionary dolts who don’t do any sort of due diligence with regard to what they’re told by politicians and pundits, will fall for the spin job.
What did Sanders say? Women around the world should have the right to birth control, including abortion. Controlling population growth is good for the climate. Is he wrong? He didn’t say we should fund overseas abortions but that we shouldn’t have stopped giving aid to overseas organizations who provide services which include abortion.
Republicans care about brown people when they are unborn and can be used to further their agenda. They don’t care about them when they are trying to come here because their countries are poor and overpopulated. Hmmmm, maybe birth control could help. But the base will suck it up.

The moment the GOP/Conservatives became the Masters of MODERN Negative Political Advertising (way back in the 80’s, I think)…they just do a Helluva’ better Job at negatively defining who DEMS/Liberals, (or their opponent in a Primary) are,than DEMS/Liberals have in defining themselves.
I think President Obama was an enigma. Despite pulling every trick in the book on him, he pretty much finished his 8 years defining himself. Bruised and battered for sure, with his share of mistakes and miscues…but surviving in a positive light (except among Conservatives).
The Conservative Game continues…and like it or not…they are good at it.
Also, he responded to a question asking him about population, birth control and the climate. He didn’t make a speech or something and thrown it out there. I give him credit for actually being able to answer the question.

I think the Republicans do a better job at defining individual opponents, but the Dems do a better job of defining the Republican party–racist, anti-poor, anti-woman, blah, blah, blah. They do have a willing media helping get that definition across, though.

As I recall…he was wheelchair bound…had some disability that stunted his growth?..with a mind that was pure genius… (I DO remember that he was the mastermind that put Jesse Helms back in Congress in North Carolina when he had to run against then Gov. Hunt. Hunt was supposed to be more of “shoe-in” to win than Hillary in 2016. The negative Ads led to Helms crushing Hunt…).
