George H.W.Bush had to have had one of his friends “forge” those numbers!!!

Jeff,

That comment made me laugh loud enough to attract the interest of everyone in a 20m radius. Good stuff.

On a side note: the “military IQ test” (ASVAB) isn’t an IQ test per se, it’s a tech test - asks a lot about things like engines and such…

Hold on, the ASVAB is what has been used in these debates as proof of an IQ? Damn.

jeffy, how dare you accuse veggy of being a Democrat! That was the worst insult you have ever given us!

I think they (you) all suck, and belong in Dumbfuckistan. Me and beatiful women are the only ones allowed in America.
Just Kidding.
Nonetheless, i don’t believe you ‘repubs’ actaully believe in Bush, and you ‘dems’ didn’t believe in kerry as good leaders.
It’s almost like this is a ‘my dad can beat your dad up’ argument, except both dads are weak little bitches who suck fat ones, and couldn’t ‘lead’ a bunch of lemmings off a cliff.
i can’t believe this ‘debate’ is still happening, with the whole party pride, conservative/liberal bullshit. It is so easy for you guys to hide behind some generic affiliation instead of forming your own thoughts and ideas. You’re all fooling yourselves, lacking the truth and embracing ignorance. This has been an attack on your crybaby, never-ending commentary (see above),which at times is worse than a broken belly dancing record; not on yourselves, your status at T-nationers, or your contributions to the T-nation.

I am now open for direct attacks, if you aren’t dripping in tears yet.
HA HA HA HAAAAA! :::::*)

Rock on Chemical ali… whoops, I mean ID!

HA! Is that the best you got? And it’s C-H-E-M-I-C-A-L-D. Say it with me!

My bad ChemicalD. At any rate Rock On, I like what you said even though I fit the target bill of your post!

I don’t believe it was the ASVAB – the comparison is with officer qualifying tests. Kerry’s was the Naval Officer Qualifying Test, and Bush’s was the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test.

D is just mad because he lives in Dumbfuckistan… sorry man, you can always move y’know.

I hear ya Vroom. I live there and I’m learning to live with it. Thank the Pink Bunny for the Salazar Brothers!

God, I hope the ASVAB isn’t the measuring stick of intelligence here.

I am an unabashed conservative - as are many of my friends. The only party of any significance that even comes close to matching up with my beliefs is the Republican party.

Oh, I could waste my vote on a third party - and let the liberals count my vote for some esoteric 3rd party as a vote for them - but I won’t. In order to maintain the power that conservatives have been building over the past 20 years - I will be a willing participant in the 2-party system.

It has absolutely nothing to do with a ‘my dad can beat up your dad’ mentality. I haven’t had that particular thought process since I grew pubes, and moved out on my own - 22 years ago.

What it has everything to do with is keeping more of my money in my pocket. Not because I am greedy - but because I know best how to take care of myself, my family, and to help those around me when they need it. The left thinks that the gov’t knows best how to spend taxpayer money, take care of the poor, an educate our kids.

I think the gov’t should just keep the highways repaired, the post office open, and our military armed to the teeth with the most destructive weapons known to mankind, and staffed with men that will kill you first and then send an apology letter to your widow if they got it wrong.

But that’s just me.

AMEN RAINJACK!

Is Bush a Great Conservative President? Hell no. Is he a Great Republican President? Don’t think so.

Is he the conservatives best choice between Kerry/Bush? Hell yes!

Watch out, the stereotypes are a flying…

LOL!!! Is this the Pink Bunny from one of the religion threads?

Well said, Rainjack.

One thing about this Red State-Blue State phenomenon really chaps my ass.

There is a difference in culture here - big contrast between the values of urban versus non-urban folks, and many things in between.

That being said, Red States aren’t nearly as ‘Red’ as the new commentary suggests, and the same goes for the Blue. Many Red states had high vote tallies for John Kerry. Many Blue states had high vote tallies for Bush. A lot of the polarization we speak of is artificial and manufactured - just because our electoral map is color-coded to show who took the state doesn’t mean that a state is ready to embark on Civil War because a neighboring state is a different color.

My point is this - we have differences, many of them cultural. It is an important debate to have. But it’s lazy and silly to assume that all Red states are filled with John Birchers and all Blue states are filled with Leninists.

Let’s argue the about the real differences - and there are plenty - rather than continue cheap sterotypes based on the electoral map.

Even if that is the case, this is not an IQ test. It is a test of knowledge specifically about ethics and conduct within that military force…which means it shouldn’t even be completely comparable across two different sections of the military.

ie. “what is the military code of conduct for…?”

“who was the …to…and then…within his…as he…?”

If this is what has been used to justify an IQ, you all have been hosed if you believe it in terms of how smart either one is. You have to study for these. You don’t have to study for an IQ test. Bottom line, why is anyone still bringing this up?

AMEN!!

I’m guessing that some people are just now getting through all the wonderful email SPAM received last year and are stumbling on items that might have been funny during the election.

Where’s our presidential candidate that will eliminate SPAM?!

Lycos for president in '08!!!
