The sentencing is harsh, but it would be just as harsh if it was a man. Equality is a 2 way street, women cant just want equality to be police officers or firefighters and thats it. This is also the equality you get. And you have to love how the strong, independent woman attorney breaks down crying in the court room.[/quote]
Her crying was unprofessional. I’m not arguing the sentence was unfair because she was a woman, but unfair because rapists and murderers will see freedom and she will not, and that is a disgusting.
Here’s an aside: I read that in the play vagina monolouges a 24 y/o lesbian has sex with a 12 y/o girl and the girl then realizes she can live her life w/o a man or something along those lines. The funny thing is, feminists would have a heart attack at the thought of a 24 y/o man having sex with a 12 y/o girl, but glorify the same when its lesbians.
I’m not saying it’s right for a 24 y/o man to fuck a 12 y/o girl, but im pointing out the hypocrisy of those witches.
