Police Forced to Strip Woman In Jail

The tape was a story that was “edited” for a news broadcast. Keep that in mind when you watch it. The editing is designed to keep the theme of the report intact.

The story would not be very interesting if it stated that “another drunken idiot picked a fight with the cops and was arrested and jailed and then cried about it once she realized the consequences of her actions”.

The story has far more entertainment value if it shows a drunken idiot pleading with the cops not to strip search her and begging for mercy. The full tapes exist, they just haven’t been shown. Those cops could have blasted her with OC and restrained her with pressure points using a baton. Guarantee she would have gotten the message. They didn’t and actually gave her lot’s of chances to stop the drama show.

Just because she is a whining drunk woman doesn’t mean she is a damsel in distress. In all reality the cops sometimes cross the line but not all the time and rarely in the case of an innocent person. If you don’t start a fight with the cops they rarely beat the crap out of you.

The problem is people with a complete lack of responsibility who assume the cops will treat them like their parents or spouse will and let them have their way because they have been “wronged”. Reality often deals them a different lesson. Don’t want to get your ass kicked. Don’t fight with the cops, especially when drunk.

Their was no mention of intoxication. Their were no charges against her related to being intoxicating or fighting with the police. The police did not say so, she was not charged with a drunk and disorderly. If she were fighting with the police, that would constitute assaulting a police officer which is a felony. She was charged with very minor misdemeanors that should not have resulted in an ass whooping.
If you have evidence to the contrary, please bring it forward. As is stands right now, we only have evidence of police brutality.

She doesn’t seem to be in control of her emotions or actions in the video and she is resisting the officers from what I can see. But you are correct I am making the assumption she is drunk or on drugs based on the way she is acting out.

I can’t say why she wasn’t charged but she certainly appears to be hindering the search in the video

I don’t think she got an ass whooping. I’d argue that she dictated the actions the police took by her behavior and she had it within her control to be treated better simply by acting decently. I think it’s common sense notr to fight with police, especially when overwhelming force is available to them. Others feel they are making a statement by doing so.

Why do they need to strip search somebody arrested for a minor infraction? A minor infraction she may have or probably did not even commit. I mean, disorderly conduct, “resisting” arrest? This mandates an involuntary strip search.
she was acting out because she was being held down and having her clothes ripped off of her. I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t take to kindly to that. She was made powerless and she was freaking out. I think I can understand that.

Hoo boy. Put aside her feelings for a moment, imagine how the husband must feel. My god, I’m angry on his behalf. Can you imagine anyone, especially men, stripping your wife (daughter, sister, whatever) butt naked? To leave her for hours with nothing but paper to cover her nakedness with? Can you imagine watching this video of her panicking as these men helped strip your wife? If you walked in on men doing this in your own home, and you were armed, what would you do? Does that change because the perps have a badge?

What about all those people locked in jail? Can you imagine your loved ones being locked up for life? What if they robbed a bank and murderered the teller? Would that change things?

We don’t know what she did or didn’t do to bring his on.

I’ll bet the husband would have felt much “worse” if she would have decided that “Hey, no one care” and followed through on her threat to “harm” herself.

I want to know about the circumstances tha led her to call the cops. She claims she was assaulted by /fought her cousin at a party before she called the cops.

Couple that with the way she was reacting on the tape and she may have been intoxicated.

It is pretty easy to envision a scenario where she was in the wrong.

It is also possible that the cops were wrong too.

Let the AG investigate and sort it out.

The only information we actually have is that the cops behaved incorrectly. If she did something so wrong as to deserve to be treated this way then please by all means lets bring it forth. It’s not out of the realm of possibility that cops acted atrociously in this case. After all, it’s not as if something like that hasn’t happened before.

I don’t know that they did behave incorrectly.

When asked if she was going to harm herself she made some sort of wiseass statement leading the cops to believe she might be a suicide risk and then she resisted search.

She had the opportunity to act sensibly and be treated like a human being but it appears she took the wrong approach at every turn so they treated her like a criminal.

I think it should be investigated and if the cops acted improperly they should be fired. I am not willing to say that they acted improperly hearing only part of the story.

Remember the old lady that refused to move her car blocking the drive thru at McDonalds? Everyone was jumping on the cop for arresting her and when the story came out it was clear that she was totally in the wrong.

Wait until we hear the cop’s side before we crucify them.
