Poisoning Geese (Really Off Topic)

In all seriousness i vote you should eat them. Shoot them and eat them, maybe you could practice shooting your bow at them. The indians could do it so why couldnt you? Dont make excuses, just do it.

So, I guess I’ve become more empathetic. If there’s a clear and present danger to you or your family or I guess property, then the situation requires the doctor to prescribe a lead pill (euphemism for shooting, for those that don’t get it). Once you dispose of them, take care of their bodies (do something to ensure that it’s not a mess all over the place).
I agree.

 1. Be sure to wear gloves so as not to incriminate youself.

 2. Spray the blood down with ammonia.

 3. Do not bury the bodies. Someone always finds out. Instead cut them up and feed them to the homeless. Fool proof!

Lol, this isn’t a Mafia hit. But good points nevertheless.

Muskrat traps in 18" of water with a pile of corn on it. Quick and relatively painless.

22 shorts are not the answer. Geese are tough and have a small kill zone. You will have a good chance of wounding one.
Worked well for me. Had two sets fighting over my pond. They made tons of noise at night, and I’m not about to have those filthy, worthless, disease ridden shit machines fuck with my sleep. With the 22 shorts, I never had to hit one twice to put it down, and with the barrel in the house, the shot is barely heard outside.

Good job. Not saying it can’t be done, just that there is a greater risk of wounding them.

How close were you? I have just broken their wing with a 22 LR, but they were so far away I had to lob the shot in. A buddy and I used a 22 and binoculars like a mortar team. Good fun.

A 7 Iron works real well, I had to dispatch one who was chasing my nephew once at a park. They can be mean bastards!

Between 20-40yds, from about 25ft above the water.
