My urologist had me on 3 pumps of androgel 1.62 and my levels were

Test date 4-11-2014

Testosterone total-329
Testosterone free-43.1
That’s all he had tested.

I felt really bad had a really hard time urinating and my hair was falling out more then ever before. I felt like I was having to many side effects and wanted to go back to injections.

So My urologist currently has me injecting myself with 2ml of testosterone cyp every 14 days . I got my lab work done and checked them online thru quest website here are my levels
Test date 06-13-2014 the lab work was done 2 weeks after injection.

I do not feel good ,I’m tired. I did not get access to my lab results till 6 days ago so I did my injection on the 11th a few days ago and have felt horrible .
My next appointment with my urologist is not for another 6 weeks. I know these levels are horrible .
I’m going tomorrow and see if I can talk to the urologist to get a script For Anastrozole I was told this would help me… Any other opinions on what I need to tell the urologist? If I can not see the urologist do you think going to the emergency room will do any good?

I’m 39yrs old
5"9 240lbs
Had a total thyroidectomy last year ,lab came back positive for cancer.
Have gained about 30 pounds since operation.
I’m diabetic but a1c is 5 which dr says is great.
I’m currently on the following meds due to neuropathy and a bulging disk and other spinal issues.
Morpheine extended release 60mg every 12 hours
Morpheine instant release 30mg as needed
Cyclobenzaprine 10mg every 8 hours
Xanax 1mg every 8 hours
Glimeperide 4 mg with dinner only
Synthroid 200 mcg

The box of testosterone cyp says
Testosterone cyp 200mg/ml 10ml
Inject 2.0 ml in the muscle every 2 weeks.

If you are still there…

Please read the advice for new guys sticky. There is a lot of info there that you need. Your T injections should be twice a week. Anastrozole will not work with T every two weeks. You can change how you inject yourself. Please read the protocol for injections sticky and use insulin syringes to inject. Disregard “Inject 2.0 ml in the muscle every 2 weeks”

Inability to absorb transdermal testosterone is a symptom of a degree of hypothyroidism. Check your body temperatures as per the thyroid basics sticky. Consider using your body temperatures as a dosing guide for your thyroid meds. You need to be testing fT3 and it needs to be mid range.
