Only been to a couple of bodybuilding shows, and the size some of those guys get isn’t a goal of mine. That said, there is a huge aesthetic element to those guys that I appreciate, like living sculptures (not to mention recognising the dedication that requires).

Interesting story… There’s this one buff dude who used to oil up and strut around on stage flexing his muscles all the time…he definitely must have had the ghey! Needless to say, he rapidly went downhill.
This dude was an immigrant who didn’t speak good English. People laughed and imitated the way he spoke (they still do!) Then this guy got involved in one of the gayest of American industries - Hollywood. He starred in a dozen or so movies where he played ridiculous overly-muscled characters like ancient barbarians and cyborgs from the future. As if his Hollywood earnings weren’t enough, this weirdo also made tons of money by careful business investments and he even started a restaurant chain with a couple of other gayass Hollywood action movie actors. As if all of this asshatery wasn’t enough, the dude got married to this national news anchorwoman (yes, a woman, believe it or not) who’s the niece of arguably one of the least well-known American presidents - a prez so forgotten that people these days mostly know him by his initials.
And, you know what this musclebound loser who used to waste his time strutting on stage is up to these days? He’s a state governor. But not of a major state like Delaware or Rhode Island. Nah, he’s governor of this tiny little state, way out west somewhere. It’s so damn far west it’s practically in the Pacific Ocean!
The moral of the story is, bodybuilding has got be the most useless pursuit ever!
