Nerdgasm though, I like this whole CQC variety thing they have going on, with disarms and combos and such. I really, really like the bullet drop idea, anything that can make Sniping and pistol work that much harder and more skilful is nice. The Black-hawk down moment and the APC tank Raiders Of The Lost Ark bit looked incredibly satisfying, and the fluid movement capabilities during firefights look very nice too.
Not sure how I feel about these coffee-stain blood patterns, fast health regen and lack of real tactics during fire-fights by the A.I., wish they’d pull more flanking manoeuvres and try to really put some more immediate pressure on your positional strategy. Given that it’s on it’s Normal difficulty the bullet sponge-ing and reckless A.I. don’t bother me too much, but I would like to see some gameplay on Hard for reference. Also given that this is titled as “Day Mission” makes me excited to see some “Night Mission” gameplay over the horizon and how significant the change is in terms of stealth capabilities. Whilst I will try my best to avoid putting myself in the action movie situations, they really impress me. I love this, I love this a lot.

Just played Killzone and Resogun for a bit, first impressions;
Resogun looks great, not mind-blowing but definitely something that wouldnt be capable on current gen. The particle effects look awesome in 1080p on my 60" plasma and its a buttery-smooth 60fps all the time.
Killzone looks incredible, best graphics ive ever seen in a game. Tons of detail, crazy lighting, no jaggies, very vivid and colorful, and the FPS is generally very smooth, i would guess 30 FPS pretty much at all times. If this is how a launch game looks im sure the games we see in the next couple years will be out of this world. Really interested to see what santa monica and naughty dog can do with this.

Im also glad that it wasnt a TLOU sequel. I enjoyed that game but no console exclusive franchise is better than Uncharted IMO.
