We called it Kickshit. I remember for a while, it was customary for one year (grade) to play against another and for a week, two on two. That’s over a hundred kids per team, with one ball.

Red rovers was great - I once broke a guys arm playing that.
We also played a game where you’d have 2 teams, on the opposite sides of a field and we’d through stones into the air and see if we could hit eachother.
