No ink for me as of yet, although I do think a sleeve can look good if the work done is of good quality.

The eyes and nose of the one in the middle looks like a weird butterfly and so does that part below it’s chin. A flock of butterflies really.
erm… no, thats just trying too hard to see something thats not there, but if you like butterflys feel free to get some by all means ![]()
Tragus, rook, both lobes x2, navel, one that I recently removed, and one tattoo on the badonkadonk.
Obviously…I have a huge Lord of the Rings collage backpiece. Wraps around to my left ribs where Gandalf is battling the Balrog during the fall. Also includes a Valknut at the top as a tribute to my ancestors and the first letters for the words Body, Mind, and Soul in Tolkien’s created language Quenyan (High Elvish). Guess I’m a geek, but I’ve been a Tolkien nut since the age of 8.
The Witch King - right shoulder and bicep down to my elbow. Eowyn, who defeats him, will soon be on the inside of my bicep.
Orc portrait - left shoulder and bicep.
Eagle and anchor - lower left bicep (my first ever, also my “Navy” piece).
Dragon perched on a skull - right forearm.
Skull and dagger - left forearm.
Hearts and banners which matches wife’s - outer left calf.
I have two tats, both on my upper arm. I’m wanting more of course…I have a tribal butterfly, and a Celtic Mother’s knot…My next one will be Celtic as well. Any good recommendations for the Southern MD area? ![]()
I used to have my tongue pierced, but then I joined the NAVY and got busted, *oops…
I also had about 8 holes in each ear…one of which I tried to pierce myself with a safety pin…*ouch…

I have this on my left upper back. I got it in Chiang Mai, Thailand in 2005.
So 4 pages and only 4-5 girls talking about their tats? I have two and I will try to take a pic of one tomorrow, (this thread is worthless without pics) and I only have two holes in each ear. The thought of some big hairy dude piercing my nipple freaks me out, keeps that from happening!!

All I say about that was… “AWWWW!!! FUCK!!!”
First of all, I would just like to say that there honestly aren’t many things that are more lame than a dude with no tattoos talking about “the ones he’s going to get.” Without fail, everytime there is a group of people talking about tattoos, some jerk off will come in with “Oh I’m gunna get this big dragon back piece and this sweet full sleeve and blah blah blah I’m the man.”
Shut the fuck up, nobody gives a shit. If you already have a bunch of ink done then it’s fine to talk about what your next one will be, but if you’re clean, then keep your mouth shut.
That being said:
I have 5 tattoos, my lip is peirced (my left side, 12 GA), and my left earlobe is pierced (14 GA). I’ve pierced several parts of my body for fun or out of boredom, but I haven’t kept any of them.
I used to have a safety pin in my left ear because every time I went out to this specific bar my freshman year there was a girl who would buy me shots every time I pierced my other ear. I’d wind up piercing it 4 or 5 times a night, get a dozen or so shots of SoCo, put the pin back in my left ear and bounce.
I’ll post some pics of my tats if I can get a hold of a digi camera.

Actually my friend who also plays bass has that on his calf and he has the treble clef on the other one. I was thinking about getting it a long time ago but I see it a little too often now to consider it.
Chicks do love bass players though…

Here is my tat. I got it about 4yrs ago; and haven’t been able to put another $4-500 asside to fill it in. Ideally (when I have the cash) I will fill it so it looks like a 3D chrome “sword” sorta thing. Hard to visualize I know.
And yes, it is in teh “tribal” category. But its not from Page 4 or anything haha.
The circular part at the top is from an artist I like (Jorge Posado) and the surrounding area was aided by my friend chris (med. illustrator) and james ($2,000 worth of tats covering whole body)…so I had good help. I had the original design, the three listed above just helped carve it out.
Pretty sweet T-shirt huh?
F sleeves.

Yes, very tribal. But the way you described the finished design doesn’t sound tribal at all.

Nu-tribal?
Man tattoos suck. You people are crazy
One day, on my left shoulder blade. A poem - as of yet undecided - in the following script:
Most of the scab/skin has come off the work on my back, soon getting back to the gym properly.
Anyone else had to deal with parental dissapointment?
