Piercings & Tattoos

I’d like to get a tattoo of a red lotus that somehow incorporates the name “Luminous”.
Love makes you do strange things.

BTW, one of my tatts is 30 years old, and still beautiful. It was done by Buddy Mott, if any old school ink people are out there reading this.

from the Book of Kells

Sparked your interest too eh…

I have strength down my left forearm, gonna get a few more in the future.

Had 2 piercings. Had to take them out for surgery or my job (at the time) and was too lazy to put them back.

6 tattoos. Some very meaningful, some artistic, some random.

I’m in the process of working for myself. If i can establish myself so I don’t have to worry about being judged by a potential employer I’ll probably be covered.
I said this in another thread where you posted that and I’ll probably say it in every thread that you post it in: Best Tattoo Ever.

i got my scaffold piercing because i wanted to look cool.

there was never any deep meaning behind it.

i got one on the back of my neck but she got infected. like a cunte
Damn man, Stan Lee himself couldn’t carve out a jawline like that! Ever considered going into the super hero business?

My lip ring got infected. I almost took it out until someone said that would trap the infection in there.

I’m almost positive my lip ring got infected when I had it done, too. I never took it out though because I was in terrible denial.

I have both ear lobes, my upper right ear, used to have my tongue. I got a solid chain link band on my right arm, a dragon frat tat that takes up most of my back and a piscean symbol in the middle of a band of fish that are coming out of each others mouth.

I will be getting a Phoenix tatoo that will encompase my entire right shoulder with wings that will spread onto my chest, my entire trap and onto my back. Thing is going to be big.

I have always thought about getting my family crest put on me. Still debating. If anyone can recommend someone in Los Angeles please PM me.

that sounds pretty awesome. are you gonn aget color on the phoenix? It would look pretty sick without color, but if you do go with color you can really go all out.

the problem with a Phoenix is all the yellow and orange that is required for it and those are two of the worst colors to get because the shelf life is not very long, so they fade quickly. I have an awesome tatoo guy here in town who is going to draw something up for me in all black and gray.

It just looks badass with all the colors though

Not a color man myself. I find B&W creates the best “old school” effect IMHO. That’s just me though. I’ve seen some people pull off color really well due to a combination of the design and the actual colors used, but they’re few and far between.

What kind of phoenix? (Style wise)

yea i hear you guys on the color. A lot of the younger tattoo artists will go all out in color and it will look amazing for 10 years and then you have mush on your body.

I’m a color fiend though. Lucky for me though I found an oldschool guy who is pretty good at breaking the colors up with decent line work.

I can’t see yours aging badly. It’s f*cking well done IMHO. Yours would be one of the few I’ve seen in color that I think “woah… that is awesome”.

thanks. i’m really happy with it. time for more as soon as i get some money lol

I smile when I look over at your puppies too MsM.

Got earrings - no other parts of my bodies have been ever pierced on purpose.

Don’t regret my tatoo - even though it’s Star Trek related.

And yet, you should not! I believe, if you regret your ink…your a dork and didn’t put any thought into it, you got it to “be cool man” :stuck_out_tongue:
