Starting Trt next week with test E, the test I got through a uk clinic issues test E with castor oil… will using 27g 1/2 inch insulin needles be ok for this? as I’m going to pin 3x times as week low doses. I know castor oil is thicker so will draw with a bigger gauge needle put into a 10ml vial and then just be patient when pinning. Was planning on going into the glute, but after reading I’ve heard subq might not be the best idea for this ester but not keen on IM as seems more risky with hitting nerves etc ?? Also prefer the idea of subq and slower stable levels
Yes although it will take while to draw your oil with this. Also, if striving for IM injections this would be better suited for delts and quads but not glutes due to needle size and length.
Need longer needle. 1" minimum IMO but I use 1.5 for glutes.
I’ve pinned myself hundreds of times, likely even approaching 1000 at this point. Never hit a nerve per say. Sometime is hurts a little bit more than others but have never had more than a ‘pinch’ of pain. IM (intramuscular) is the way to go.
