I’m no laser but I have graduated from university, currently work as an English teacher overseas and I read quite a variety of things. I like reading the classics (I’m currently reading the unabridged vesion of The Count of Monte Cristo after having just read Love in the Time of Cholera and read the wonderful Ready Player One between those) as well as science books. I’ve read two of Brian Greene’s books and most recently one by Brian Cox on quantum physics. I also read two Noam Chomsky books in the last year, for some political stuff.
Now having said that I apparently have trouble with reading comprehension as do many other well-educated people here on T Nation, at least according to Professor X. I mean I think I get what he’s saying in a post, but if anything is contended then my reading comprehension is called into question.
So many of us just never seem to be able to catch that slippery fish that is his exact meaning in whatever post is being argued about at this or that time. Everyone is always misunderstanding him.
Maybe I should try reading Gravity’s Rainbow or Ulysses.
[From the book description]: with helpful essays like â??How to Be the Black Friend, How to Speak for All Black People,How To Celebrate Black History Month, and more…

Count of Monte Cristo is one of my all-time favs. Phenomenal book. Also, the book “Quantum Gravity” is an interesting read.

Oh, Nardsy, you know we haven’t had any static at all since you video taped that Asian chick going crazy on a treadmill.
I even love you super gay poodles. I mean, what is there not to like about you?..besides the hair?
All you have to do is ask if you misunderstand, old friend.

Yeah “Ulysses” and if that was not enought Musils “Mann ohne Eigenschaften” whatever that is in English.
If you make it through you can probably melt steel with your mind because you are THAT disciplined.

You remembered! I’ve been seeing a therapist to come to terms with my bandy little getaway sticks.

If you’re trying to get better at understanding Professor X, I would recommend visiting Egyptian museums so that you can teach yourself how to read hieroglyphics.
