Hey all, I am planning on running a peptide only cycle this summer, in conjunction with starting carb back loading.
Plan on running Ipamorelin and CJC-1295 w/o DAC. 100mcg of each, 3x a day for 3 months, maybe more.
What im wondering is, would there be any major negative effects if i didn’t pin on days off from training?
I’ll answer your question… IF you send your copy of the f’ing ninety dollar CBL book.
I’m kidding. Sort of.
That dose is good. My understanding is that you would be best served by using it pre-bed ED and immediately after training on training days. I can’t comment on results, as I’m only 10 days into my peptides, but this is what I’ve seen suggested by people who know a lot more than I do.
Since you ideally want to pin on an empty stomach, or with only protein in your stomach, it might take some dietary adjustments on your part.
Why Ipamorelin? Just curious - it sounds like you’ve done some research.

The book is definitely not worth the 90$, the majority of it is just science that kiefer uses to prove that carb backloading will work, and as a man of science i enjoyed it, but to actually get the gist of the diet, it could be summed up in about 10-15 pages. Id just suggest reading everything you can find for free on the internet and piecing it together, thatd be worth it moreso than buying the book.
But yeah, i was planning on pinning before breakfast (during CBL he only recommends some coffee and heavy cream for breakfast), then post work out (still void of carbs), and before bed.
But i chose ipamorelin because it still has the GH releasing effect of GHRP-6, but i won’t have to deal with the hunger that comes with G6. Im cutting, and i don’t think i’ll need any help trying to fit in any calories.
That’s kinda what I figured re: book. I’m also a scientist, so it might be an interesting read, but I’m not shelling out $90 for it. I think I accidentally did something like CBL last summer when I first started using intermittent fasting. I wouldn’t eat at all until 1 or 2, then I would eat mostly meat, veggies, and maybe some nuts or peanut butter. Then on training days I would typically pig out after training and eat a ton of carbs.
Like I said, I think pinning pre-bed every day and after training would be more effective than 3x/day on training days only, but I’m not sure how much more effective. I do know that pinning pre-bed gives me excellent sleep.
Remember that fat in the stomach blunts GH release more than carbs do, and protein has no effect.
My only complaint with ipa is that it’s more expensive. The hunger sides with G6 and G2 seem to be pretty individual - I only get them sometimes at a 100mcg dose, so it might be worth trying G6 or G2 after training when you’re going to be eating anyway.
I think you should do some more research on the pre bed dose in combination with CBL. I think it doesn?t work the way it should because of the large amount of carbs, I love CBL and that is currently how I eat. But I had to stop doing my pre bed dose because I think it messed with glucose disposal and elevated Blood glucose for longer than it should be because to impaired glucose disposal. I tried to find out more info on this but not many people follow CBL and even less are using peptides. I will be very interested in anything else you find out and your results as I am doing a very similar schedule. How many carbs are you eating?

I would be more worried about the pre-bed dose being wasted because presumably the last meal of the day is a large one and not fully digested by bedtime.
Also,
“In conclusion, replacement therapy with a low-dose GH in GH-deficient adult subjects is associated with a sustained deterioration of glucose metabolism as a consequence of the lipolytic effect of GH, resulting in enhanced oxidation of lipid substrates. Also, a shift toward more insulin-resistant type II X fibers is seen in muscle. Glucose metabolism should be carefully monitored during long-term GH replacement therapy.”

im not starting CBL til i get back from college, that way i have complete choice over what foods i eat and when i eat them. I dont want to have to deal with shitty dining hall food and shitty hours.
